Running over to USA is NOT GOING TO FIX ANYTHING. They will NEVER have a revolution, nor they will fight or demand for better governance and economy in their country. BETTER OPTION, those in USA, Mexico or elsewhere who are too compassionate should leave, go to those countries, live there and fix problems there rather than destroying USA by uncontrolled immigration.

I remember the first time I saw her on The View and someone criticised her for calling Trump a fascist and she said something like "I'll say it again, and I'll say it again in Spanish. El es un fascista." I was like, damn! This was a while ago, before it was "okay" to say it out loud. She's a republican so I don't agree with her on nearly anything to do with economics, but who cares? Those are arguments I welcome.

My wife is Haitian and her family lives in Florida. We met in the Army over 30 years ago. She got out, became a US citizen, then a Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs employee. There are members of her family that work for the federal government or are medical employees. Our half-Haitian daughter also joined the Army and is married to another Soldier. Haitians are hard working patriots who make some really good food, and who also happened to lead the most successful fight for independence in history, with our fight for independence coming in second to theirs. MAGA picked the wrong people to mess with!

What is democracy exactly? Is it censoring dissent? Is it creating a disinformation board? Is it suing 3rd party candidates off of ballots? Is it using intelligence agencies to go after people with opposing political views? Is it taking foriegn leaders out and installing a government?

So appreciate Ana being of Nicaraguan descent myself. My grandmother came to San Francisco in 1929 and my Dad came in 1931 right before the Great Depression. Different era but resourceful, ambitious immigrants of the 1930s that couldn't wait to hit the ground running to assimilate into the US and its culture.

My brother lived in Florida and lived with a Haitian girl and was close to her father. My white brother will stand up for the Haitian people all day. He will tell you what hard workers they are, usually working at least two jobs.They only broke up because she went to prison for a minor drug offense and is still there. Well it’s Florida!
