This video is meant to show viewers how to perform an IHU reset and a TCAM reset in order to restore a mobile LTE data connection on a Polestar 2. Pour le video en francais: • IHU and TCAM reset to ...
Thank you this worked for me as my LTE suddenly went off-line. I have a long-term Hertz rental and I am in Palm Springs. I do not have my tools. I do need to do the TCAM full reset as my smart key does not work, I have to use the remote to lock and unlock the door rather than just walking up to it and pulling the handle. First world problems but it’s frustrating a very expensive car.
Does anyone know if you need to actually press down the physical button or is it enough to just hold your finger over the defrost button and not press down?
I did this several times out of the day. I’m unable to charge my vehicle due to it auto resetting to an amp of 6. I can’t listen to music or use maps or Spotify. I also am unable to view my battery charge from the polestar app. I just got this car two weeks ago and it’s a huge disservice. I feel like I wasted my money.
@@SS-yw7vo yes, Volvo “fixed” the situation. However, every once in a while it will disconnect for a few moments but it reconnects. The connective issues are the only con I have with this vehicle. And I have had this vehicle since December 2021.
I have questions. My phone sees the car ..the car sees the phone but when I try to use Polestar app..the app says it does not see the car... I've tried the tcam and ihu reset also, factory reset and still app does not see the car so I am unable to use the app
If these procedures don't work, that means that your TCAM module is locked up, and will requires a manual reset. You can contact your local Polestar dealer, and they will arrange this for you. The manual reset requires disconnecting the 12V battery, as well as the TCAM backup battery.
@@rj240polestar is that something I can do or does an engineer need to do that? I can't connect the phone to the car via the app either. Just seems to have stopped completely.
