Absolutely stellar cover, Tommy slayed this one. He did a huge justice to the original, while still making it his own, in recognizable Tommy style. When covering an iconic song like this on, it's important to find the right balance - to add your own stamp (and avoiding to sound like copy paste) but to keep the essence of the original at the same time and not make it unrecognizable. Once again, Tommy found that balance in a most glorious way
Nothing can touch the original by Meatloaf, but Tommy certainly has come very close with this cover. His guitar work is truly epic (as always). And you need to alert Animal; Tommy had a Q&A session in December and said he has a new studio and will be playing drums in some future covers. Great reaction, stay safe, God Bless.
Tommy covers all songs out of respect for the original. He puts his own stamp on it without disrespecting the original artist. He does NOT do imitations.
@@DaffyDill-zg8no What s a cover than an attempt of imitiation? There are few artists who are covering famous songs in their own kind of way, like Tori Amos did on her album "Strange little girls". This guy here kinda keeps it in the same style, but that only works if you are Meat Loaf. And he isn't.
