This series is just pure gold to me. I have started to look at Bach Chorales, and, surprisingly these videos appear our of nothing. Thanks a lot for your invaluable work. Clear and concise. The examples are worderful. Again, thanks a lot..!!!

Thank you! Your combination of theory and analysis of a real example has been the most the helpful explanation on this topics I’ve see so far!

Brilliant clarity by my fav online theory teacher. Thank you for taking the time to make these remarkable videos. Great voice, excellent visuals and outstanding music examples. I’ve learned so much from you Greg. This video is exceptional in particular but I’ve listened to many of yours yet I like the functional harmony videos in which you discuss the roles of scale notes and their resultant chords. Great inspiration for writing! Many thanks!

Really good videos about functional harmony. The analysis of foggy day is also a good tool to keep the viewer focused and motivated. I wish you'd make more videos.

Wow I actually was catching on to what you were talking about. And you have given me a lot of insite into cord structure in songs. I was always wondering why they were useing the cords they were. How were they thinking. That 2 - 5 grouping was revealing. You've given me something to work from and on. In my music writing. Thanks
