I would disagree- using “awareness” instead of consciousness. We're all conscious. Awareness resides in Consciousness as the ability to understand what you're paying attention to, or, what you're making the most important thing in life.

Sadguruji, how I explain the difference between artificial intelligence and consciousness to my grandson who is working on Artificial Intellegence for his Ph D ?
AI is memory, like Intellect. Consciousness gives you awareness, the awareness to see that which is more than what you see - to see the unseeable - to know the unknowable. Consciousness allows for the expansion of the Human Experience. A.I. can never be truly Conscious. But its memory will have no limits. A.I. will expand its memory infinitely but never expand it's Awareness.
