Yes it is true. IKM had a live stream a while ago and I asked the product manager about it. He said it is an issue only when you use the USB to power the Uno Drum. It happens on a lot of devices because USB isn’t shielded from interference. Personally I think that’s a cop out by IKM and they’re cutting corners. Their Uno Synth does the same. But at this price point you can’t complain too much. Both are great devices.
@@johanLundblad That's interesting because the power then comes from a power source separate from the computer. Does it get better/worse depending how many other devices are on the hub? I wonder if you plug the hub into an isolated power strip, would it affect/reduce/eliminate the noise?
@@rjbush7955 It is unacceptable for a synthesizer. Obviously, the quality control has failed. The drum could have been given a normal small power connection.
