🤗 Let Me Touch Your Mind is 1 of the most beautiful songs that they ever sang. Tina was singing it so emotionally "touching" deep down from her heart💖 and soul, "Oh Let Me In Baby" and Ike was feeling it too with his🎸 u could see it on his face too, And those horns🎺🎷was on point, them guys were blowing....I Really Love Love Love This Song 🎶💜💋👏🏽
@@RandyInCT That's like a soccer player playing a game with a broken leg. There is no proof Tina ever performed with a broken jaw. She also claimed to always have a black eye and a disfigured face, but she looks beautiful here.
@@RandyInCT 🤗 That Is A Beautiful Song And She Sang It Beautifully. She Could Not Have Sang It Like That With A Broken Jaw, So U Need To Get Your Facts Straight 💋🎤🎶🎵🎸💜😍
I BELIEVE THIS IS FROM THE BILL COSBY SHOW BACK IN THE 70'S. I REMEMBER WAITING TO HEAR THEIR LASTEST SONG AND HOPING IT WOULD BE PLAYED ON THE RADIO AND FINDING THE LP> LET ME TOUCH YOUR MIND < IN THE RECORD STORES. THIS IS ONE OF MANY OF THEIR GOOD SONGS THAT CAN BE REDONE TODAY BY SOMEONE. IKE & TINA TURNER ,,FOREVER,, EVERYBODY
I will never understand why Ike was so abusive toward Tina even though they had their good times together but it's still bother me today and I don't she deserves that or any woman for that matter.
He gave an interview on why back in the 80s/90s after the movie came out. He said it was to cheer her up cause she would be walking around looking sad.
This is one of my earlier favorites. I never really knew that much about Ike and Tina's music as a duo until the What's Love Got To Do With It Movie. Then I saw some of their music on youtube. I'll love to know more. Of course, I know their hits. This song is intense. Tina's song is from a place of emotion. Cool vibe. Those were the days. Way before I was born. But it's cool to look into these time capsules. I was born in 1979. My mom was 22 at that time. ❤
@ROUGHCANE I remember the Bill Cosby Show and she did perforn this song, but this isn't it. I recall just Tina and perhaps the Ikettes perforning the song, Tina was wearing a long black dress and did a superb version. She also did Higher in a red dress with Ike and the band.
they appeared on BILL COSBY SHOW back then twice. wonder where can we find those show footages ? along with their appearances on the PEARL BAILEY SHOW and BURNS & SCHIBER SHOW. you have any ideas ?
@jewelmayfield2381🤗 I saw that one also, she did sing this one a bit different from the 1 on the JCarson show. "Let Me Touch Your Mind" a beautiful song, it seemed she was singing it from her heart & soul to Ike and he was feeling it too with his guitar🎸🎶
@@hellochannel6344 She is Esther? Far left in our view? I know Claudia did not stick around too long. (Hey... do you have any link to when Bonnie Bramlett was an Ikeette?)
@@DaveDzRochNY Well, I took a good look closely and I must say I can't decide if it's really her, I'm not sure, she's about her size though; Esther was short. About Bonnie Bramlett, she was an Ikette from 1965 to 67 but I never saw her sing with the Ike and Tina Turner Revue on RU-vid, I have no link. Claudia Lennear isn't part of this set.
@@hellochannel6344 Yes, according to Wiki, Claudia was from 1968 to 1970. So, the gal above would not be her. But I will remain curious to see any kind of footage (or even a picture) of Bonnie as an Ikette. Same goes for Kathi McDonald (Wiki: "... before she was discovered by Ike Turner.[3] She sang as an Ikette with Ike & Tina Turner and eventually replaced Janis Joplin as the front woman of Big Brother and Holding Company.") But I believe Kathi was ("just") a background vocalist on the Come Together LP. Might the same be true for Bonnie (but on a different LP)? I don't recall seeing her credited on any recording.
