This was my first time working with IKEA cabinet . The directions they supply are to say the least horrible . Pictures don't always work . In this video I go over door hinge installation for your IKEA cabinet , the Do's and Dont's .
There are directions as to where to join the cabinets together. I agree, sometimes Ikea instructions are a bit confusing, but most of the time you just need to follow them.
Good tips man. Thanks. I heard somewhere if you screw up a hole you could glue a dowel in it and after drying re-drill the hole. Have you run into that?
Yeah I've done it from time to time and it works fine . In an instance like this example it probably would be a lot of work to do it. Bottom line take your time and dont mess it up 😁😂😜
You aren't supposed to attach the cabinets using any pre-drilled holes. The directions suck but they show that you need to drill a hole in between the holes so your drilled hole makes it look like a #5 die when done, if that imagery makes sense. You may need that bottom holes for drawers so never use the holes for anything other than rails or hinges.
