Hi Pravalika, rinse aid is made of combination of chemicals like dishwasher detergent. It does not stick on the utensils during dishwashing. It is harmful if ingested directly. Anyway it is a good idea to rinse the utensils before using. Finally using or not using rinse aid is individual choice. Thanks for your suggestion for a video on this. I will definitely try to do.

Hi Prabha, sorry but I've not tried any organic dishwasher liquid till date. Also I have not tried strategi products. Sorry that I'm unable to help you in this regard.

No it is quite sturdy. It does not shake.

Hi Frank, it is a lightweight table, so there is a slight shake while ironing. But it is quite steady, and does not shake always,. No it was not sitting on anything. We haven't had any problems since we started using it. We do all our ironing on this table only. We find it very convenient. Thanks.

Hi Banu, thanks for sharing the info. Actually from my experience of using IFB detergent a couple of years ago, I've felt the detergent has something like vinegar in it which gives the soapy feeling on the dishes even after wash. So you can either try to make the rinse aid setting to zero or reduce the quantity of detergent you use. Because you seem to be using a somewhat short program and I think the rinsing in that program may not be enough to remove all of the soap. So I would advise you to 1) try washing in different longer programs with the same quantity of detergent save rinse aid(I think you've set to level 1) 2) reduce detergent quantity 3) make rinse aid setting to zero You can try out each of the above all at once (combination of all) or one by one and observe the results. Just let me know if you find any change. Another option would be to change the detergent brand. Since your water is not very hard you can try using Finish detergent. Hope my answers help. Thank you.

Hi Manoj, thanks for sharing your opinion. But i would differ with this. I have tried other brands of ironing boards which were very fragile and did not last long. But this IKEA Danka board is very strong and sturdy, we use it regularly in our family and it's still in good condition. There is one more model of iron board in IKEA which is not of this quality. In fact, that one looks very delicate and of ordinary quality. It is priced lower than Danka.
