Ikea Friheten Sofa Bed-Review

I bought a large white trunk to store my infant niece’s stuff in ru-vid.comUgkxNuLbiXpLQ-mKH5NlyjrNe88hiCk2N3Cg , as she comes to my house frequently. For now, it’s toys on one side and diapers, wipes, and other baby care items on the other. As she gets older, it will be all toys. I had originally wanted a trunk with a hinged lid, but I was afraid of her smashing or pinching her fingers in it. This will be a much safer option. The lid has great padding in it and it is actually nice to sit on. It feels very sturdy and secure. Looks like it can be wiped clean easily. If it gets abused by her, I won’t be terribly upset because I paid less than $50 for it on Prime Day.

I had the exact same unit in my flat in 2018. It was large and my son liked sleeping on it at times. Myself i felt i could not sit on it for long periods. Not enough support and you can feel the hard wood under you. I am 6'3 and 100kg so might be fine for someone petite .

I have two questions. 1.Is the L( the on e inside which there is storage...I mean that section of the sofa ) seperate or does it come attached with the rest of the sofa? 2.Youve mentioned in the comments somewhere that you'd not recommend this sofa as a long term sleeping option. Thank you for a wonderful review Purvi! We have recently shifted to a new home and were looking for this same sofa-bed in blue color. I was sceptical about IKEA because it is still a new brand for India. Will definitely consider it. Question : was it easy to install? Or IKEA helped with the installation?

where can I buy it

Some users of this sofa said it is not a good choice to sleep on it regularly and they recommend that sleep on it couple in week or just for guests. But I saw that they don't use that cover you showed in 3:18 so if I use that can I use the sofa bed regularly? Because I am planning to put it in my office room and sleep there after work so I will use it everyday. What is your recommendation?
