I found this IKEA HELMER drawer unit in white color, in a really bad condition and I decided to do an IKEA hack project. It’s a metal drawer set with a weathered duct tape and glue all around. First comes the restoration of the chest of drawers to bring it back to its original state as much as I can. Then I added a plywood for volume and a nice contrast and I upgraded the handles with brown artificial - synthetic leather. The brass screws give a stunning detail for this industrial looking furniture makeover.
I lived this trash to treasure transformation and really enjoyed my IKEA helmer cabinet makeover project.
