It’s clear that these videos are needed and appreciated. However, I can’t find where this young lady’s name is mentioned. She is concise and plans out her videos accurately. She so positive and refreshing. Please give her the credit she deserves!
That's a good point! I was surprised she wasn't mentioned in the description!! Her name is Rochelle Gracey, and she's a producer on The Sorry Girls team :)
totally agree. would be nice for her socials to be linked in this series, since she's the host in it! and would be cool to have an intro that's like "Hi! I'm Rochelle, and this is the How To series"
This video is gonna be such a success 😂 I remember a year ago searching all over RU-vid how to install this same mirror flat against the wall, it was nowhere to be found. I was terrified, never even made a hole in my walls after living in this rental for 6 years. It took me 2 moth to figure it out and gather my courage 😂. Ended up doing it, even the lifting part, all on my own and succeeded like a champ but.. Thiiiis is going to help a lot of people 🔥
I don't care what others say I love Rochelle and would love to see her more. Rochelle is so talented and I would love to see more of her creativity. This is intentionally a back to the basics video and if it's not for you, it's not for you. Don't hate on it. I'm sure the new comers and beginners would appreciate a video like this.
You make it sounds like you had low expectations of their presenting skills. Do you mean "this was surprisingly easy, and the instructions were clear and simple"?
@@leonhardeuler675 maybe because these last few years they stopped going into detail and while we still enjoy their content some of the makeovers feel out of reach
At first I didn’t watch this since I don’t need to hang that ikea mirror. But I really like Rochelle, so watched and of course, it’s far more useful than just hanging the ikea mirror. The title needs to be changed and Rochelle is so clear and easy to follow (and charming!).
Ive been wanting to mount this mirror to the wall for like well over a year now but I've been SO terrified of it going wrong I've kept putting it off. So glad to hear all I need are wall anchors! Thanks Rochelle
Great video! It was exactly what I was looking for! I installed an Ikea mirror and it obviously went wrong, so I just removed it and repaired the wall to try again, and I'll be using this video as a guide 🖤
I'd definitely appreciate lessons in the anchors/screws/ etc. area. I've made so many mistakes over the years. I mean...for instance...when you said to have a drill bit a little smaller than the anchor, and an anchor is angled, what part of the anchor are you comparing to the drill bit? See? Pretty basic, but I really don't know the answer. Thanks!
This video was weirdly specific for this channel but actually what I was looking for 😂 But please show us how to use power tools like circular saws, orbital sander, routers etc as all i get is droney men videos when what I want is Rochelle 🙌🏻
I don't really know anything about hardwares or diys but I'll watch whatever you guys putout hoping to get a tiny bit into my brain for future references maybe 👀
Can there be a part two to this video on how to use that middle screw holder when you're just trying to lean the mirror against the wall and you want to keep it from potentially falling over?
Hi Rochelle :) What type of wall anchor/screws do I need to hang a shelf, there are metal studs (ugh!~ the shelf itself is not too heavy, it is a shelf from an Ikea bookcase) so I am repurposing it! Have a great week. Thanks
Easy steps to follow. And u didn't male achors confusing. Lol. Would like an endepth coverage of screws and anchors. Feel like ud break it down in understandable doses. Lol. Could u also take us through a homedepot to find the anchors, hooks, and screws? Cause they can be in several aisles and I'm always walking back and forth. Lol.
Good instruction; however, I wish she provided the exact number/diameter of the screws that way we dont have to run around and figure out the diameter of the screw. I am not talking about the length rather the diameter.
Thank you, looks easy......... Do you have a hack or trick to hang a towel or coat (anything you want to hang) on a single-hook with a key-hole back. The hooks keep swinging on the single screw. This marks up the wall with scratches. Thank yo for your help
I bought this mirror forever ago but have yet to hang it and seem to have lost the mounting hardware it came with ... can someone please let me know what type of mounting hardware I will need? The more specific the better lol
She does a great job. So does the 3rd sorry girl. However, it's not like it used to be. The OGs used to have very detailed diys and interesting topics. Now that you've expanded your presenters, the content is so-so. Just sharing. Does anyone else feel this way?
Yes, i also think is a bit different. I'm not exactly sure how to explain this "change" - it is propably just the personal preference with the "older flow". Sill it doesn't mean I don't enjoy the content.
I agree the vibes are different. However I see the Sorry Girls brand growing into a part sustainable design studio, part diversity and inclusion centred enterprise helping women and other disadvantaged groups thrive in traditionally male spaces such as woodworking, construction, handy’man’ing and product design. And this I like!
