Why have a space that collects dust when you can have practical storage instead? Using Ikea Malm flat pack boxes (drawers), under the high bed frame is an excellent storage solution which can be an alternative for a cupboard in a small room or provide extra space if you have more things to store. The drawers are available in sets of two - one for a single bed and 2 for a double.
Using easy roll boxes with castors as a storage is a clever idea - it helps to maximise available space without adding more furniture or using traditional storage beds which are bulky and difficult to move.
You will be able to keep all your belongings safely and have easy access to them when needed. No more roaming through the cabinet shelves; just pull out the box and you will be able to have a full view of the contents right away.

I can’t seem to get the little screws that go around the edges on the bottom to screw in. I am using the same small tool you are, but they won’t go through! I’m having such trouble :( and then I got one in but it went in crooked and I didn’t realize till I was done so now there’s like a small bulge coming out the side where it went in :( how can I get these screws in??

can you tell me whether I can choose which side of the bed to install the storage boxes? I was planning on getting 2 for my youngest boys but would need to put the storage boxes on the right side of one bed and the left side of the other? Can't figure this out online and can't get through to Ikea... Thanks!

The bed has the same space underneath on both sides. You can to put the storage boxes as you like. Left or right side.

Thanks for watching. It will fit but the front of the drawer may not go under the bed. The height of the drawer is 20 cm (white), and the front is 29cm (brown). Watch the video 0:02. The soace under the bed is 21cm

Thanks, I understand your explanation, what's the hight of drawer on wheels please? I don't mind if the brown part won't go under the bed as long as the white part won't hit the top edge of the space

Hi, can these drawers be used for any bed that has space underneath? Or does it need to be a Malm bed for these storage drawers to work? I have a bed that is not ikea but the size of these drawers would fit perfectly.

I gave the sizes of the drawers at the end of the film, 3:20 you have to measure the space under your bed. This storage is design for Malm bed and it fits the bed perfectly, but it might fit other beds as well. The mattrasses have standard sizes so the beds should be similar as well. The height of the drawer is 20 cm (white), and the front is 29cm (brown). Watch the video @. The soace under the bed is 21cm

Yes, for Malm it's not a set, bed frame and storage units are sold separately

I'm afraid you can't do much, the drawers fit pretty tight at the front. You could fasten a bit of MDF or piece of wood on the other side of brd, but I personally think it's not worth doing. Just take the drawers out and hoover regurarly under the bed.

Take a flat screwdriver. Put the screwdriver in the cross and try to pull. Try at different angels.

Yes, you can make another set of holes next to the old ones and screw the wheel there. However, the bottom of the drawer is pretty soft, you should be able to fasten the wheel without drilling If you don't want to do it.

@@delijovenchannel7792 You can't use the old holes, they are too big now. You have two options: either make new holes next to the old ones and fasten the wheel to them using the screws, or don't make new holes and screw the wheel to the bottom of the drawer. The wood should be soft enough and you shouldn't have problems to do it
