That 2nd set of cutlery is *WORTH IT!!* Got them, use them, LOVE them! 😁❤ We adore mugs and have FAR too many! Yes, I shop the same way: surgical strike, in. and. GONE! We like white plates, white sheets, white towels, clear glasses... 😁 Oh, never had a gravy boat? Slip a sandwich/side plate under it when in use! You'll be happy you did! I'm with you, Claire...MUGS must be holdable! I have a tiny hand, but I insist on being able to put my whole hand in the handle, or I don't buy it! I get mine off Amazon. I buy clear, BIG borosilicate mugs, at least 16-20 oz. They are hard to break (& I break everything!). Bye, Luv! 💕 Hope your eyeballs survived the sweat! 😁😅💕

So glad you are back. Headbands, frozen ice packs, & damp towels kept in a container in the refrigerator are my friends. Your 30C is a nice spring day to me. It's 43.9 outside right now and we are in a block building w/ drywall at least we have AC so that is set to 26.7C during the day & 24.4C when sleeping. Up to 40C in the shade here is doable but, we don't have the humidity you all have so it is very different heat. Thermal curtains can help, as well as adding insulation and such. As soon as hubby's arm is healed up we will be making an insulated fabric wall for the bedroom to help reduce the heat there as well. May you cool off soon.

I'm with you Claire, I love white crockery and have the exact same plates and cutlery as you!

I just had my grands for a week lol hottest heat wave! No A/C - we were out early every day searching for a new park lol and then home for lunch and screens/crafts/swimming for the afternoon! Was so much fun!!!

Nice to have you back! And we're in a heat wave here in western Canada, week three I think, not sure as my brain is melting away. I avoid Ikea as they had it set up to send you thru the entire store, not arrows but like a maze. Been years since going into Ikea here, like their stuff not the layout!

Welcome back! I love to see how similar and yet subtly different IKEA looks in other countries. I have the second ever IKEA store to open about 40 min drive one way, another 20 min the other way and a smaller version in a mall cloes to work. I still only goes there a few times a year.

We have a cider house near by that my hubby and I go to and they have those cute beer can shaped glasses. We now have 8 of those, and a few bar (pub) glasses. I think we maybe have two regular drinking glasses that were his mother’s 😂😂

We have the Dragon flatware too! Had to go back and get more little spoons lol

Love love your back weve all just got over covid again as u daid the covid this time wasnt as bad but me and the kids had infections after which are still slightly lingering going ikea tonight for units for daughters bedroom u can bet me and other half will have a row b4 we leave there he hates the place 😂 in the range and next yesterday i seen so many auturm bits i love but feel its criminal to buy in july even though every part of me was wanting to ❤

Loved the video Claire! I too am that person with mugs for holiday occasions that overpower my plain mugs lol, my husband now hides them until the season comes up lol! So when we bout the cutlery set of 6 each, kept running out also by the end of the day and got a second set and now there are like 4 of each in the drawer when really should be closer to 10! What do we do with them? Is only 2 of us as well...😂

I could feel the struggle when you saw that pumpkin jar, not sure I could have passed it up. 😂 I am totally fine with fall coming out now, but what is crazy is that I saw Christmas stuff out at one store already!

We had several days where we hit 40c with the humidex, it was so bad I told my husband we were moving to Antarctica, he said no :( . Love IKEA but we may go once a year, correction, I go once a year, hubby and my daughter go every month or 2.

I think you would love milk glass mugs they are the most beautiful white pieces you will ever find! Very simple white but milky white hard to explain if you dont know what milk glass is! My grandmother collected it! Loved it! Sorry you went through so much sweetie and a tip with the back pain as ive had 3 back surgeries, try putting a Nerf ball 🏈🏀 under your butt cheek usually on the opposite side of where the pain is but it will help take pressure off of the nerve and relieve some of the pain. Ive had to do this forever ever and it does truly help me. Glad you made it back to this channel i know you have so much going on and im excited to see what you have to come!!
