You are so lucky to have such a good husband! Alex can do everything! Here they call such a man a ‘Jack of all trades’...and I love that you were helping him too! 😊
Alex can do anything and fix anything. I love to watch your videos because I want to see what Alex says. You are so funny sometimes with the expressions you make! So much fun guys!!!
You’re most definitely not my parents but gosh…..to see the 2 of u working together w/o yelling, screaming, cursing etc….warms my heart 🥰 i dont know why my parents got married to begin with, let alone not get divorced is my biggest question in life 😳. Great to be doing this work now so when u spend most of your time there…u both can just relax & enjoy it 😃
In Chicago, it is very hot. 88 F = 31 C. it has been very cold, but all of a sudden summer. We have crazy weather in Chicago. I am a new subscriber. Love your videos.
Tractor Supply Company has such great dog food prices! I don't know if they would have Sheffield's brand, but I know you and Alex would have a wonderful time shopping there☺️🐕❤️
I helped my girlfriend's mechanically gifted son (#2)put together a bookcase from IKEA. It almost defeated the 2 of us. All the newer furniture at her dacha is IKEA. I don't understand the fascination with the products other than they are cheap. I've never been to IKEA in the states where I live, only to the one at Belaya Dacha, when my girlfriend dragged me along.
@Eric not only WC, there are no bench to seat on in whole town(Cannes), when you aren't well, after operation you won't find a corner to lean on, all buildings in awful state, dirty, unpainted, streets not clean, healthy food like fruits are incredibly overpriced, people are arrogant and rude, I miss normal people like British, Scandis or Russians
@Eric I moved from Tenerife two and a half years ago to France because I needed an operation, Tenerife is an almost perfect place to live if not for job, there is no stable work at all, I love brittish people they are honest and have fantastic sense of humor, canarians are the friendliest peoples of all, I am from Saint-Peterburg USSR but in 1985 I arrived to Paris later turned up in Tenerife where I spent 31 years, now I'm in shock what France became like. In Russia live is a lot richer than you can get in Europe I bring bags full of any stuff when I return back from holidays.
Good router skills. By the way, here in England this is pronounced Rowter whereas Route (as in how to travel between two points) is pronounced Root. It gets better. Router is pronounced Rooter when it refers to the Internet thing. England and America are clearly two lands separated by a common language (a quote of George Bernard Shaw they say)
Way to go Alex ! Like you, I love repurposing what I have to fit my needs. I live in an older 1,000 sq ft condo ( apartment) that I am renovating. Nothing is "square" , and renovations are painstakingly slow 😢 Since the Pandemic, the cost of materials have skyrocketed ! I have to wait until I've saved enough money to buy more materials, and by then, they've jumped in price again. It's a vicious circle. I'm eagerly waiting to see your finished product.
It's already hitting 33C here in Missouri, I want to come there and breathe nice cool fresh air. And probably want to lend Alex a hand. Sometimes handymen like to tackle a job themselves, other times help is much welcomed.
I like Alex very much, such a handy man. You are a lucky lady Valeria. It is good to have lots of storage. I have been thinking i am happy you have groceries and all that you need in spite of sanctions. I am happy you guys are ok. All of my friends on youtube are ok, i am so happy for that. Yes Alex will do a good job as always. 😘
I was using google maps around Moscow. I was surprised by how much land is still forest . I love how the city has very wide multi lane roads and highways that ring the city . I wonder how they achieved this , did they take over homes to build the roads . There seems to be many very rich people near the city . lots of gated communities .
You are surely lucky to have a wonderful husband like Alex ! Best wishes , hope your weather gets pleasant soon! 69 f 21c in Southern California right now at 4:30 in the afternoon ,coooold for us..even the sun is shining still 😆😂🙈❄️
Some people have that natural talent like Alex and are able to do so many different things Not me. I need written directions and then still mess up things.
I was wondering if you could tell me about the fencing I see along the roadside . Why is it continuous like that is it something to do with the snow. It seems everywhere you drive around your vacation homes it's almost like the view is being purposely blocked.
The metal panels paired up with the old chain link? The got those panels used from someone else's dacha, I think. There is actually a video about those panels, in fact a full series of videos about the dacha itself but you'll have to check her Channel and scroll down to find them all. The titles will probably be adequate to allow you to locate the right one. Also, she has a separate Channel called Different Russia, check those videos too. I have wanted to go back and watch all the dacha videos in the right order, but I've never had the time to do it. [EDIT: Oh, you meant the panels all along the road, for some reason I saw the word panel and remembered the video about them putting up their panels - they used to have just chain link along their front property line. Yes, privacy. ]
Wow, you guys are still getting snow. I guess Alex was just getting to cold. Maybe you'll show Alex continuing the work tomorrow. I hope you all are doing good and also Sheffie and Kitty'
@@sharonbartoszak9159 Yes, that's correct, but they won't be able to buy replacements or spare parts once current inventories have run down. My general question is why they don't buy at least some RU products? How did things get built before the end of the Soviet Union? And, how will the RU construction industry in general cope if they've only been using foreign products?
@@expatexpat6531 yes I understand now what you meant. Things are going to get much harder for the Russian people as sanctions bite harder and harder down the road. I have always thought that Russian tools could be of an inferior quality and if people could afford to buy imports they would. Thank you for explaining to me😊
@@expatexpat6531 all factories in Russia were destroyed to give place foreign production , this was made to destroy russian economy in advance foreseen actual situation, same in Europe, no factories- everything is made in China
