As you can see right now you are using science (internet) to criticise Mwafreeka's views. A Hindu does not trust the bible, A Muslim does not trust the bible. A Christian does not trust the Koran, A Hindu does not trust the Koran. Religion is based on geography, science is based on facts. Black holes are a scientific fact. Holy books are barely 100 years old in Kenya so we are just like your great great grandfather. Difference is we've been lucky to live in the scientific age of internet/information. Also a Difference of opinion doesn't anger us as much as it does to religious folk.
@@IkoNini I’m not criticising Mwaf at all. I live and work in the West and there’s a new ‘coolness’ that the being liberal is intellect. If you can prove to me why you trust science which is based on human discovery and improves every millisecond but trashes Bible coz you can’t understand it then I’ll 👏🏿. I can’t speak of other religions coz I know nothing abt them but I know that there are places that Christianity hasn’t reached but that doesn’t lessen it’s veracity. Science can be disproved, Christianity can be trashed or ignored but has never been disapproved in the history of mankind.
I’m a lawyer by profession, never studied anything on divinity and I’m not even born again. However, I’m ready to sponsor an episode and we can discuss veracity of science and religion, not with the aim of getting a winner but to brainstorm on myths, facts and historical gaps. It is not a coolness. Evolution is a scientific fact. Earth being 4.5 billion years old is a scientific fact. The universe being 13.5 billion years old is also a scientific fact. Using the bible, earth would be approximately 6000 years old. You're free to sponsor a show but we will still trust the scientific method. @@IkoNini you’re really conflating issues here. You keep talking abt science, technology interchangeably, and that’s okay. If I’m right, we’re only disagreeing on one point: you believe in scientific “facts” and not biblical ones. I believe in both, only that I think the Bible explains science and science can’t explain the Bible. science can’t be supreme as it’s not static and it will never be coz its dependent on human knowledge which is in itself limited. Do me one favour; prove to me why science is a supreme fact, forget abt the Bible. As in define “a scientific fact” at least with one simple evidence. There’s a reason why any scientific discoveries are never pegged at 100% and words like “roughly” and “estimates” are used in all of them.
