From the book, page 119, from Kuban to Beelgorod (French relase) : " the dive angle is acute; in this way we can descend to a few meters from the ground without risking that the plane collapses when it is time to regain altitude". few meters... 10 meterts is few meters, is it?
@@ClanDesOfficiersTV mate... are you serious?! 10m?? you should work on your text interpretation skills... that quote states a few meters like less than 300-400m. Go check on YT videos about the stuka and its dive recovery system for example. And besides, the bomb is released before reaching that low altitude, if the plane starts to climb from 10 m after releasing the bomb 2secs before, it never would survive the blast radius and shrapnels. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CZK65tb2qIU.html
@@ivoferin8176 I think you're wrong. Dive bombing is one thing, to attack a tanks is another thing. What Rudel is talking about is the best way to destroy a tank, coming at very low altitude in the back of the tank to shoot the engine or the barrels full of benzine. Please, read his book; it's very interesting; I learnt a lot ;-)
