There is Flak at the airport, you can see it in a scene in which i destroy a "Flakvierling". Also there are four Fw-190s in this mission, protecting the airfield. You can't see them in this take, though. We attacked with 16 P-51s, so the 190s were busy elsewhere.

Right. An airfield like that would put up such an AA barrage you could get out and walk on it.

The Me262 would have left the mustang for dead,gone,however the mustang would gain height and dive to gain speed the only way to get a shot at one at that height,a me262 could fly in front of your sights and apparently that did happen..Me262 very vunerable at take off and landing as the Jumo engines took time to get up to speed.

this is very moded I will assume so I have a question, how do you put mods into this game? have not found a good tutorial on it online and would love to mod the shit out off this game to make it look and sound amazing and have a lot more aircraft to fly. :) aswell as better AI. xD

I think that it's beautiful and its flight characteristics are great. It has some drawbacks, as everything has, though.

- The elevator controls are super sensitive - Guns in the wings (you have to conscider gun convergence) - MGs instead of cannons (the bigger the caliber, the better, right? :D) - It's relatively heavy and since the AI always sees you coming it can outmaneuver you. - Liquid-cooled engine that can be disabled by a single shot - Can be destroyed by damage that would not affect other aircraft seriously

Alright I think I have gotten the game stabilized to some extent. Ive started enjoying the dynamic campaigns (not sure if this came from the BAT mod or was in the base game) but as cool as the moving frontlines are, the whole world feels a little stale, not to mention the same old repetitive gameplay, especially as a bomber so I've started looking elsewehere. You heard of Lowengrin's DCG? If so, how is it? I don't quite understand its purpose and how to use it. In addition, what is the Command and Control v3.0? It seems like one of those mods you just gotta have for a immersive experience, but the link hardly explains anything unless I think you'ev been playing this game for years. If you could share some input I'd appreicate it. Thanks.

I'm sorry, but i don't know anything about the quality of Lowengrin's DCG campaign. I'm usually disappointed by downloadable missions and campaigns and i only play my own missions. The Command and Control mod adds a lot of features, most notably airborne & ground radars. The download comes with a full readme that explains all features.

Schönes Video! Danke! Kleine Frage: ich benutze HSFX und in 7500m sieht die Erde einfach nur aus wie eine Kugel, also ich meine damit als ob man schon im Weltall ist. Sprich: die Erdkrümmung ist da total übertrieben sichtbar. Ändert der SAS-mod das oder täuscht das nur im Video?

Das liegt an der begrenzten sichtweite in il-2 von 36km. Man kann die Sichtweite in der conf.ini einstellen, indem man den Wert für "VisibilityDistance=3" ändert. 3 ist die höchstmögliche Einstellung und müsste die Sichtweite auf 72km erhöhen. Ist lange her, dass ich mich mit meiner conf befasst have, also die zahlen können auch anders sein.
