I dont know who you are, or where you're from or anything, but i want you to know that you are absolutely incredible. My uncle showed me this video 7 years ago when i was 10, and its influenced me so much, it got me interested in WW2, Aircraft and engineering. This year i am beginning my engineering degree and i can fully credit my life choices to you. You have shaped the course of my life with this video and you dont even know how much nostalgia and happiness i feel when i see this pop up in my recommended every year. Thank you, and god speed.
@@doktorkop my friend, you were the first channel I ever watched on IL2 and got me hooked on the game. I hope life is treating you well in PL, I’m glad you exist still. God bless.
Im Norwegian, my great grandfather worked as a slave at a factory i think (can't remember.) One day the Mosquitos came and attacked the factory(or something like that) and he hid behind a three. The 20mm cannon of the Mosquito struck strait trough the three and went probably a centimeter above his head. Im also glad all of my great grandfathers were in the resistance :)
Im Norwegian too! :) My great grandfather was in the Norwegian resistance, some one ratted on him so he got tortured by gestapo like the rest of my family :-( but my great grandfather was too hard to crack, so after the war they needed to let him go! When he came out of the ''prison'' my grandma almost didnt know it was him! So i am proud of my family :-)
I got a question about the Mosquito. Did it feature an ejectable canopy in case of emergencies or does the crew have to bail out of their busted bird through the bottom hatch?
You know, that the people in the standart version only sit in the cockpit and do nothing. All people moves (which are not only flying, jumping out, or running) are made by the film producer and the game is from 2001.
Fantastic video my friend. 5/5 What is the difference beteween HSFX 4.1 and Ultra Pack 2.01? I am new to IL-2 1946 as I have always been a CFS guy. Glad I changed, what a difference! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
OMG u r the best animator ever! , it must've taken you 4ever to make that! 5 stars all the way. but, lol, the german AAA gunners looked like they had serious running problems. But still, awesome job.
Jak ? Tak ! :) Většina záběrů je ze hry IL2 Sturmovik 1946 pomocí utilitky Fraps.Panďuláci jsou vytvořeni jako 3d figurky a přiddány před screenshoty nebo videoklipy.
That ship that si bombed on 6.14 was the norwegian light cruiser (panzerskip) Håkon hårfagre or Tordenskjold. they was captured by the germans in horten 9 april 1940, and was used as AA ships to the end of the war.
Unless I am mistaken, I think this a recreation of an actual attack that the british made during WWII. If I remember correctly, this was the mission in which britian lost the most Mosquitoes in a single sortie, ever!
Amazing! I have been a big fan of Il2 since the demo and haven't seen any movies quite like this before. Excellent. Do you post at the UBI forums? Many folks there would love to see these films of yours.
It is never ok to kill someone who surrenders no matter what they did, they might have seen the error of their ways and we should not lower ourselves to the enemies level. Also I loved you in flying leathernecks
I am trying to download the full video from the link provided in the description, but it is only downloading at 10kb/s are there any better options for download?
I think its from soundtrack from "The Rock" movie with Sean Connery. The artist - Hanz Zimmer. (he made music for films like "Gladiator", "True Romanse" and much more.) :)
Il2 was the biggest produced Russian fighter in World War II, and seing as IL2 Sturmovik was based on aerial combat over the eastern front, it was aptly named. Do a search for it. On steam at the moment it's 10 dollars.
This is the story of Max Guedj and his group. Max Guedj is the man who died in the final explosion. His radio operator was already Dead at this moment.
that was hilarious!! Execelent video! 10 from 5 ;) i knew that pilot wil return and finish his job. Can i know where u get this version or 'the rock' theme?
Yeah, I was recently in Poland and Germany on a schooltrip to visit the concentration camps. We had a person called Torstein Axelsen with us, who was imprisoned in Sachsenhausen during the war. Man, what stories he told.
For those who wouldn't know, this is the story of the last flight of Wing Commander Max Guedj, DSO, DFC, of Squadron No. 143. He was a Free French serving in the RAF.
@KotaWijaya which song? I couldn't find it. at least not the bit at the beginning. I'm thinking of making a video with this music as well, cos its epic.
That was simply amazing!!! I've never seen ANYTHING as epic as that! I think that you should get paid for making that video!!! Where did those animations come from??? They were great!!!
very awesome, is this forgotten battles or 1946? which one's better? i have birds of prey, but i really want this, even though it'll be tougher on pc, itl ooks much more fun XD
doktorkop, you have a (good?bad?you decide) habit of taking a video game recording and turning it into a minature war epic and making us think and feel for little 3d figures:). by the way, translation please!
Coincidence: The day after I read this I picked a book off the shelf over at my dad's house, the second story in it was this video... Per Alvik flying the Mosquitoes to attack the Graf von Hiller docked in the fjords of Norway. What are the chances eh?
@TheBritishEngineer Stealth comes from a radar return reflected from a surface, NOT due to whatever composition that surface is made of, unless it's anechoic coating like the F-117 was coated in. Wood, aluminium, makes no difference.
Very professional made movie, although the gamegraphics looks old today. Good work!! And yeah, it reminds me to of the film 633 squadron with Mosquito fighter/bomber plane.
Wow, what can I say? Great job! I felt a little sad at the end though...you know you've made a good movie when the viewer is left with emotion. I felt really sorry for those guys... but what a great job!
i love it its awesome. i gave it five stars. hey ive got a suggestion, why dont you make a vid were they have to fly through narrow canyons and take out artillery batterys
