At the forefront of progressive and trance for almost a decade, Ilan creates high energy trance with heart and soul. From barnstorming festival favourites ’43’, ‘Spheres’ and ‘Let Me Know’, to modern updates of genre classics like System F’s ‘Out Of The Blue’, Armin van Buuren’s ‘In And Out Of Love’ and OceanLab’s ‘On A Good Day’ and ‘Satellite’, his emotional, song-driven approach to dance music has earned him eleven genre chart #1’s on Beatport and a legion of fans around the world.
Songwriting takes centre stage on ‘Impulse’, his second studio album. ‘Stranger To Your Love’ showcases this emphatically, reuniting ilan with Ellen Smith. Frequently supported by BBC Introducing through her band Shadowlark, Ellen featured on ‘Scars’ album favourite ‘Rival’ and provides two contributions to ‘Impulse’.
Inspired by his love of uplifting trance records, ilan founded the Stoneblue alias in 2019. Teased online through his ‘anthem tests’, Stoneblue tracks found their way into ilan’s sets at Group Therapy 350, Dreamstate and ASOT950. We’re thrilled to welcome Ilan’s Stoneblue project to the label.

It's ridiculously good, I first heard it it only 6 months ago because of Alexa. 🤣 I randomly asked "Alexa" to "play Gareth Emery" Alexa replied, "shuffling songs by Gareth Emery and similar artists" Then this great tune came on 10 mins later and i immediately grabbed my phone for the what song is playing app

@@katrinehle3841 ja, meine liebe Katrin... ich bedaure mich ja schon den ganzen Tag selbst... aber bei diesem Song will ich nicht einfach über das Original irgendwelche Instrumente oder Effekte legen (Mix), sondern einen (Remix (neu gemixt)), also einen neuen Song daraus machen. Für einen qualitativ gelungenen Mix benötige ich ja die einzelnen originalen Spuren (Instrumente, Gesang, evtl. Bass), sonst würde der Mix nicht meinen Ansprüchen genügen können. Einen gebackenen Kuchen kann man ja auch nicht mehr in seine einzelnen Bestandteile zerlegen, und dann neu zusammenmischen. schönen Gruß (+ dann bis So bei PVD Sunday Session) aus Danielhausen nach Katrinhausen
