In this week's podcast, we discuss our predictions for the upcoming Pokemon Presents on Pokemon Day 2024. Besides the usual Pokemon Go, Pokemon Masters EX and Pokemon Unite update, we discuss the likelihood of a new Pokemon Legends game vs a return to Unova and whether we are more likely to see a sequel game or a remake. If it is a remake, will it be made by Gamefreak or will ILCA get another shot at it after Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl?

I might be wrong, chibi is referring to the overworld sprites of BDSP but if you look at even Red and Blue since the beginning the overworld sprites have had the large head chibi proportions so I’m not sure why the community complains about it. It would be incredible if we got another live adaptation like Detective Pikachu or even a new movie.

My prediction is more of a dream pitch: *New Pokemon Stadium* - Every Pokemon - Every gimmick - Every battle style, single, double, triple, inverse, etc. - Tournaments can be run with limitations and restrictions, or none if wanted. - Central hub for competitive - Made by Bandai Namco - Has a Metronome Mode

Great episode. Not sure about Fidgets new haircut 😉 lol. Definitely deserves a second listen but pokemon go is Definitely doing fairly well despite shrinking after last years remote raid nerfs

Iwata, from Nintendo, helped Game Freak optimize Gen 2. GS already had Kanto in it, but Iwata introduced a more efficient process.

Sam over here sounding the head producer or in charge of his own British Eagle Media Company lol QOTD: Since it's gonna be a minute before you catch on these questions and I have another waiting from a few weeks ago. When you get to this one, Game Freak allowing ILCA to adapt the remakes of Diamond and Pearl, and in the movie media, Universal has hired Gareth Edwards of Rogue One, Godzilla 2014, and the recent movie The Creator to direct the next Jurassic movie that they already have script for...What's a property (franchise, game, etc) you'd like to adapt in your own way but the owner or company would only allowed it if stayed within their set guidelines?

BW3 will never happen. Johto doesn't need a new game. I just want faithful BW remakes

What style of remake would you like? A direct remake like BDSP or a reimagining like ORAS?

@@ProfessorHoennGaming faithful remake like BDSP since that is what remakes should be. I don't like ORAS or HGSS for not living up to that standard. At least FRLG was almost as faithful.
