What did you put in the tank? Too much soap and it does this.. I LOVE MY SHINEBOTS.. That's right I have 3! works great on hardwood and uneven slate! Yours is defective OR you have too much soap in the tank..
I just purchased there new model w455 and there a a few videos of how it sucks up dirty water and mine doesn’t suck up any water not one drop.. I have troubled shooted everything.. and thoughts on what it might me..
@@AdamsReviews also put some cloth on the rear. it will prevent the water paddles - this tobot have potential. it is the only one i found that put water and scrub. i was really waiting to see the dirty water on the end. but i did not see it in your video. on other video i watched, the robot cleaned realy good the the water was realy dirty. and that was after 4 moping robots already cleaned the room.
Could you do a review with the upgraded wheels from eBay for the shinebot w400s? Would really like to see you install them and try them on the shinebot.
I don't understand why they gave up on developing iRobot Scooba type robots. Only problem with those was that they make the floor slightly too wet for some surfaces, but I am still using one and repairing it when it breaks. Makes the floor spotless 😀
I have Scooba 450, 390, 2 385 and 5800 model, and they are awesome. My friend have 230 which is really cute :D The only problem is that mine 450 yesterday somehow broke, on Dry-dock it started spinning brush, and then even when you just put the battery in it it still spins that brush.... But except for this Scoobas were amazing, only problems were, that they had sometimes lots of errors, and they were breaking pretty a lot, if you're wasn't operating them right, and after every use, you needed to wash every part. Why this robot is bad is probably because the brush is not brush, but roller from microfiber towel, Scooba had true stiff brush, which cleans amazing.
@@Marekerm from ebay. There is currently quite a few replacement parts available, used. Sometimes all of the listings are not seen, I don't know why, but if you are in europe, I think you can get them from ebay germany and in the US there are a lot of those also
i think the wheels after some more uses will probably somehow soak and they will be not that slippery... I dont know, but it looks like when they are wet, they are not that bad as they are dry. ahhh, what a piece of shhh.... BEEP :DDDDD Im dying xD this thing is trying to drift xDDDDDDD
you are lucky, because yours moved. mine got stuck on the same square meter for hours. To make sure, i went to exchange it to the vendor : same result. I gave it back after checking that there was no way to update the firmware for a better one. However, i liked the way it cleaned : the dirty water tank contained very dirty water.
@@AdamsReviews what new model? I saw w400 and w400s without finding the difference. The idea is very good. But the absence of support for firmware update, is a deliberate lack in support policy nowadays.
I cannot believe some people it’s saying this bot works fine. May be I got a faulty one too? Because mine is also leaving residual water behind in a tile floor. The only way I can get a decent clean level is after running it three or four times! Which makes no sense for automation. I feel so disappointed I wish I’ve seen this video before buying. But surprisingly there’s videos saying it works great I really don’t get it
I really do think this is defective or they seriously screwed something up with the "S" model. I have the original W400 and it's been perfect, never gets stuck, always navigates well to cover then entire floor and always makes it back to where I started it from. It doesn't clean as well as a Scooba would but it's as close as possible instead of being something that just pushes a pad around.
The thing is that your floor may not be subtle for the drive wheels also considering the price and all the performance and stages of cleaning it has to do it no wonder no other companies will try to recreate the iRobot scooba. I have booth 400 and 450 and they work great better than the iRobot scooba.
I've never heard someone who had a shinebot not love it. I think others have pointed out that yours might be a lemon. I also thought from the beginning that your expectations were too high. No robot can totally clean a really dirty floor w/ hardened on stains and food. Every other reviewer admits that. You expect it to have the muscle power of a man and the will to clean of a woman. It's just a dumb bot. They can clean to a point, but mostly they maintain what is clean-ish and keep minor new soiling down.
My thoughts exactly. Pretty grumpy review, just being honest. I mean it’s just a bot. If someone isn’t happy then send it back. They have a 30 day money back guarantee and if you get it from Amazon then you can return anything as long as it’s not underwear and even then. ☹️ Lol. I’ve seen plenty of reviews that show all the positives and downsides without being so negative. Not trying to be rude toward op but it’s tons of negativity or lack of a fun attitude in a video makes me want to turn it off and not want to finish. Not trying to be rude but maybe it can help improve videos ya know.
Please Please Please test the Hobot Legee 688 !!! It really looks like it is the only true mopping robot. The wheels are like mini tank wheels so it shouldn't lose traction. I have seen promo videos of it against other robots and it did really good against most. They have 2 models the 669 is the non smart model and the 688 is the smart model I am more interested in seeing the 688 smart model. Wellbots.com and Amazon sells them of course Ebay does also lol. Please test this unit!!!!
@@robovaccollector well I thought this channel was about testing out and reviewing robots vacs so we can see how they perform and if they are worth buying or not? Adam asked what else we wanted to see him test and this is just a vac I really want to see.
@@robovaccollector I understand what you are saying. I am just curious about it since all the other mopping robots are trash lol. There has to be at least one good one out there.
