The Ilizarov method is a surgery used for many reasons, and one of them is helping fractures be solidified.
Many years ago I had to make several 2D drawings about this method and it was very hard, once in 2D I can not to put nothing inside another. It just alowed to put the objects above or below. While I had to do masks to get such effect I was thinking: it would be so good if I knew how to do 3D drawings... so that´s Why I choose to do this personal project!

I had same surgery, Illizarov fixation for my right tibia and fibula bone in August. 4 months on Illizarov currently.

However, my purpose with this animation is atract doctors to transform their knowledge in didatic animations. I am just a 3D illustrator and I am not able to answer medical questions.
