My uncle was a huge fan of Ill Bill. He got a lot of inspiration from his music and such. For me personally the song is almost too accurate. He was always like a big brother. He never made me feel like a dumbass kid. My uncle though did die of an overdose. Every time I hear this song I feel close to him. Cause it’s one his favorite artists. He was only 32. If I make it to the gates of heaven i hope you’re their uncle Stephen.

This song always hits so close to home, I was raised by my grandmother, and my uncle was the only male role model in my life. I lost both of them 8 years ago, both to cancer, even though my uncle was an addict all his life, and there are so many parallels in this song its insane.

this song came out no word of lie a week after my uncle passed on. he was boss, he ran everything,with a great sense of mind two people i respect in this world are him & my mother. i was choked i didnt know how or what to do but the one thing i do know is this song really did help get through it.
