Illawarra Fly Treetop Walk See the rainforest trees and eucalypts typical of the Sydney Basin on the spectacular Illawarra escarpment, just north east of Morton National Park. Steel walkways 30m above the ground take visitors to two swaying cantilevers and a 50m-high spiral tower. From here, 710m above sea level, breathtaking vistas stretch all the way to the south coast of NSW. There’s also a zipline.
Take a walk through the treetops on our Treetop Walk. The Treetop Walk is a 1.5km walk through beautiful warm temperate rainforest with 500 metres of steel walkway nestled in the treetop canopy some 20-30 metres above the ground.
The walkway culminates in Knights Tower, a spiral tower that rises to a breathtaking 45 metres above the forest floor. Then there’s the thrills and challenges of two confronting swaying springboard cantilevers suspended 25 metres above the forest floor which take guests to the edge of the escarpment.
The nature of New South Wales beautiful Southern Highlands are on full display at the Illawarra Treetop Walk! Stroll through and above the forest canopy at heights between 20 and 30 metres above the ground as you gaze out over the lush Aussie greenery that stretches out into the distance on this premier rainforest experience. The walk is open daily from 9am to 5pm with the last admission at 4:15pm. Visitors are advised to allow between 45 minutes to an hour to complete the walk comfortably.
