ehhh if social media posts are to be believed, there are people who somehow believe these are real and get scammed. so intentions of the makers of these fake cards aside (we don’t know them), they do have a negative impact tbh
@@chiros_z i was going to say youre wrong but youre deffo right am a part of the is my pokemon card fake reddit and have seen like 3 boxes of them this week alone 😂😂😂 clearly fake if you know alot about pokemon but to the untrained eye it may be difficult unless they see the hp of them as thats usually a giant giveaway but again youd have to know thats wayyy out of the ordinary 2 of the people who posted them didint know they were fake and only one thought there was somting fishy about them lol so yea people are deffo getting tricked by these
I actually bought one of those from an Etsy shop. Got myself a hyper rare Sylveon VMax. I already knew it was fake, but it does look so good in gold plating.
Yeah that's exactly why I thought it couple they just look nice but the ones I found are like a legit copy of the card copied onto the metal so it doesn't have the ridiculous HP
I’ve seen a kid at school that had these, he said they were is best cards, I felt so bad because he thought they were real and valuable, it sucks that companies will try and make fake cards
I want some official Pokémon metal cards to be made as like a very small one off set or something, just them implementing some rare metal cards of classic Pokémon cards throughout the generations would be nostalgic and wicked cool, and ofc if they used some classics thru the years to make into metal cards they would not only be highly nostalgic but also HIGHLY collectible. That would be so sick
@@s3livagant that might have been what it was from, I think it was charizard venuasaur and blastoise for the og cards pretty sure they has attacks and stats on them as well
Imagine some kids aunt buys him these for Christmas thinking she's going doing something awesome just to find out she's getting him fake knock off collectible cards lol😅
I actually have 3 of these of the pichu line. It was a gift from my niece cuz she knows I like pokemon, tho I think she didn't know she was scammed. I appreciate the thought.
Yyooooo. There's a local store that had that gold box with ash on it. I was wondering what was in it since it looked fake and was selling for $10. Now I finally see!! Looks like there's a company out there distributing them everywhere.
I asked my my grandma to find Pokémon cards for me when she went to Japan and came across these and bought three packs of them. On the bright side she did also buy two official Japanese battle decks
I told this kid at trade day once that he had fake cards. He kept arguing with me, saying they are real, and I didn’t wanna make his mom angry so I just agreed with him. This is not good.
I was in my hometown recently, and at one of the collectors' shops there, they had a bunch of really cool custom-made silver and gold cards. I bought myself a golden Flareon V full art, and it looks amazing, regardless if it's fake. It was really well-made.
Could you imagine if they did a whole metal list of pokemon card for teirs? Like copper cards are normal rare and then gold or platinum cards are mega rare.
I've seen so many of these on facebook marketplace from kids trying to sell them cause they think they found something rare, prob from getting scammed at school 😂
Me and my friends got one of these cards from a random person, i found them on amazon for 5 pounds and the next day we were just scraching them with our pencils and stuff and it came of like a scratch off
There is so much people that i try to trade with in school, then realizing they have on of these weird fake gold, black, PINK, Pokémon cards, which just disappoints me which is one of the reasons why i stopped trading Pokémon I still like it, but i would rather trade with people that are actually expert at Pokémon like you are.
