@@olivercollins2165 I love them! Haha its gooey fruity goodness - I used to eat a whole loaf uncut when I was kid..m just scran it from the packet - even better with butter on slices though
@@BusWankers Yeah, we've got combo meals at restaurants and stuff, but it's never a sandwich and then a bag of chips and a bottled soda (unless you're at Subway). It's usually something like a fish sandwich, and then French fries and a fountain drink, but never a bottled drink. We don't even have meal deals at the store. You just have to buy everything separately
Me and my mates got bored on our last day of high school in 2021 and conducted a Meal Deal Survey, where we went up to every student in my year and asked what their meal deal was. The only answer I remember is the boy who had never heard of a meal deal in his life. My British classmate, who had grown up in london, after 16 whole years on this planet, had never heard of or purchased a meal deal. He now does a degree in e sports commentating.
hadn't occurred to me that Mighty Munch was not available in the UK, somebody send George an Irish crisp care package and educate this man's taste-buds on the sweet delicacies of Ireland, fuckloads of Tayto
each to their own personal preference and taste, innit? just because he doesn't like some of the things about other people's meal deals doesn't mean we all have to follow suit and eat what George like. variety is the spice of life as they say
The red hot ones that are sold almost nowhere in my area are the best of the 3 by far I also like the yellow ones, but the purple ones have never been my favourite
So there are a few reasons why Diet Coke doesn't taste like Coke. For starters, ordinary Diet Coke is made with an artificial sweetener called aspartame, but British Diet Coke also has another artificial sweetener known as acesulfame potassium (though acesulfame was once used in an American Diet Coke sweetened with Splenda that has since been discontinued). However they've been testing natural sweeteners like monk fruit and stevia. But a big reason why Diet Coke doesn't taste like Coke is because despite the name...it wasn't based off the original Coca-Cola formula. It's actually based on the formula for TAB. Coke Zero Sugar on the other hand IS based on the Coke formula, hence why it tastes similar. Tab was the first diet cola that the company introduced back in 1962 after the successful sales and marketing of Diet Rite cola owned by The Royal Crown Company. You see they didn't call their first diet cola Diet Coke because they once had a policy of only their flagship cola having the name. But once they saw Pepsi-Cola release Diet Pepsi in 1964, they knew they had to do something eventually to compete and so Diet Coke became a thing in 1982! Tab would remain in markets for decades until it was discontinued in 2020.
Sat at work, tucking in to my Chicken & Bacon pasta, Naked Blue Machine and Fridge Raiders watching this 🤘🏻🤙🏻Warms the heart to see so much love for the almighty Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese overlord 😩 I’ve been judged by COUNTLESS colleagues and customers alike for my sandwich of choice. Softens the blow a little to know I’m not alone 💕
There should be a main, 2 snacks and a drink because I hate choosing between crisps and chocolate. I usually end up choosing some kind of savory snack like gyozas or sausage roll and wishing I had chocolate lol
It's all bad for you anyway, but you'd be better off drinking original coke. The sweeteners in all these diet drinks look like they're shaping up to be worse than good old fashioned sugar.
My go to meal deal from co op is: Mexican style bean wrap, Lipton peach iced tea and 2 mini pork pies. Sometimes it's BLT, Innocent strawberry and banana smoothie and Cadbury bar. From Tesco it's BLT, walkers ready salted crisps and innocent strawberry and banana smoothie.
Those Tuk in naans are in Co-Op. I'm glad the Southern Fried Goujon from Sainsbury's is getting a mention. It's great I'd probably have it with Walkers Max Paprika and a Pepsi Max.
glad im not the only one who feels this way about pombear... the others we dont have in Germany but they look similar. (we have nicnacs but idk if theyre the same cause the packaging isnt and im allergic anyways)
@@defenderofminorities3056 appearently NikNaks are just corn chips, as opposed to Nicnacs which are peanuts.. so yeah i developed a penut allergy at the age of 20 and never got to try them before that, rip
DUDE istg the prawn mayo sandwiches are so underated they are so amazing (my go to meal deal is flame grilled steak mccoys, prawn mayo sandwich and dr pepper)
The more and more I watch these videos the more and more I realise how truly atrocious some of George’s takes are. For example BBQ hula hoops are a top tier snack
I have a lot of Tesco meal deals. My rotar for mains is the southern fried chicken pasta, the chicken and bacon Caesar salad. Or if I want a sandwiches I’ll go for a chicken triple, BLT, chicken salad, chicken club, chicken bacon and stuffing and sometimes the sausage, bacon and egg triple (not my favourite but if I’m hungry). I’ll also sometimes go for a southern fried chicken wrap for something a bit lighter. For sides I usually go for Thai sweet chilli sensations of chilli heatwave Doritos if I’m getting crisps. But sometimes I’ll get a snickers, sausage roll, egg protein pot (I know I’m a monster), scotch egg or some fridge raiders (southern style mostly). For drink I get a variation. Love me an oasis, orange lucazade, Lipton peach ice tea, Dr Pepper or a Fanta. I’ve given up getting energy drinks at my local Tesco because they refuse to staff the self checkouts and I cba to wait for someone to eventually come over and verify I’m over 16 ffs
10/10 for me is probably either chicken bacon&stuffing or some niceee pasta pot, chilli sensations and oasis summer fruits. I’d gladly eat that for the rest of my work days😂😆
