Why can't the police just tackle all the Zama Zama's all over the country. Why do the communities 1st have to beg, cry, protest & get killed for them to do their jobs. Have we learned nothing abt the Krugerdorp r@pes. Those women still have not received justice & all is now quiet. Where is the Hawks do they even still exist????
Well done to the officer for expressing genuine concern for the victims. These days, people become desensitized to pain and trauma, this can't continue.
Why do you negotiate with terrorists doesn't the law states that you don't negotiate with terrorists whether national or foreign coz the minute they picked up arms and shot at police that means they declared war on our supposedly law enforcement
These are state sponsored gangs from Lesotho. It's an armed invasion and the army and organised crime units as well as diplomats should all be working together to tackle the issue.
There's nothing to negotiate here. What do you negotiate with criminals? The worst part this people will be out in few weeks to carry on with their criminal duties. Lesotho is pleading with our govrnment to hand them back so they can hang them one time. Because they are slowly becoming dangerous to the society.
Thumb's up to everyone who made it possible for this breakthrough... I believe God is with us on this one 🙏.. Those Corrupt People!! Your time has expired... You are going to Hell very soon 😭.

Pointless arresting hundreds of zama zamas. This is just a publicity stunt. What exactly will they be charged with? Is there a law against "illegal mining"? The S.A. criminal (in)justice system cannot handle hundreds of perps at a time. They'll all be released directly or on bail, whereupon they will simply return to their "profession". Perhaps the experience will motivate them to acquire more fire power to defeat SAPS the next time (although there are reports that some SAPS personnel ran away).
Yes there are laws against illegal mining & most of the Zama Zama's are illegally in the country. Because of shoddy police work the court will give them a slap on their wrist & most will get free bond & will run away back to their country. And go to another area as soon as the heat has died down.
Basotho will never stop coming there because saps are nurses not force if saps handle these people like lmps does or call the lmps if saps is afraid to beat these people
