Nice short film shot on a rainy day in about 2000 at the Ace Cafe, London, starring Thomas Triton and Jake 'The Captain' Turner and directed by Chuka Umunna. The music is by dull band Starfighter X (seen playing tarot cards).
LOL! I was there during the shot of the inside scenes and i was asking myself what was going on...i stopped for the first time at the Ace Cafe on the way back to the Stansted airport from Reading, after the Rockers Reunion of 2002... Great video!
@elbuccanero i have a shortcut to this vid on the computer and have watched it many times. you could not have picked a better song. i will be listening to it thru my wisconsin winter while waiting to come out to play once again. great job shooting.
The best shot would have been the bend on the iron bridge and show the speedo touching the ton. In the days of no crash lids quite a few came a cropped into the railings. No Comment on the music.....
I want to download (purchase) the tune and add it to my shop CD for when I work on my bikes- can anyone toss me a link? They really captured the visuals of the cafe culture feel, in one yanks opinion.
@randalt63 The Captain (blue eyes) won - we wanted to have a major bloody crash at the end where I died (red eyes) but the budget (zero pounds) wouldn't stretch to that!
Once you grow up and have dosh, you ride and appreciate both, and the fact that modern marketed music generally applies suction to assholes, much like the old shite, but you have at least two now. And this is quite good. (Good original feeling and tune, lyrics are quite lyrical, and you only did it get sky hi. I found it via video search. The vid's cheezy as hell and has the Ace, Norton and Triumph in the rain no less! Loveit) Sky high high high. I'm wondering what happened to the drummer's hair. I hope it's alright. No helmet.
When you sober up you could consider looking up Italian Tarocchini and French Tarot - both games which you play with tarot cards. It seems you are The Fool...
Only did it to get sky sky high high. I want to complain that a Norton was not purely represented. Seems these kids today will make a video of just about anything. Glad it was this..
