My Grandparents were not citizens in the early NY census’s and listed as non-citizens on those Census. Whether someone is a citizen or not, should be a question on the census. Illegal’s should NOT get Congressional representation.

never before in the history of the US have illegal immigrants gotten congressional representation. Constitutionally, Congress is a representation of the voting public. Also constitutionally, only citizens are allowed to vote, er go NOT A SINGLE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT IS CONSTITUTIONALLY TO BE REPRESENTED IN ANY FORM OF US GOVERNMENT. period.

I stand with the Republicans. Democrats shouldn't be allowed to overun their cities with illegal immigrants and then use them toward the census and gaining more ground in the government. Cooperstown inductee and Orioles legend Cal Ripken Jr. and his younger brother Bill (Ripken) apparently don't care too much for Raskin...which might explain why Cal's only daughter and oldest child Rachel (who staunchly supports Riley Gaines efforts to protect the tradition of women's sports by keeping transgenders out) wants to challenge Raskin in the 2024 general election. But because MD (because of its closeness to DC) is so liberal...it's almost difficult to elect a genuine conservative to public office. However...the name Ripken is revered throughout MD.

I heard the iconic baseball legend Cal Ripken Jr.'s daughter Rachel might be challenging Raskin in the general election. Rachel and Cal's brother Bill (her uncle who played 2b on the Orioles alongside his big brother and her dad) apparently got into a heated debate with Raskin at a MD townhall meeting recently. And Rachel has joined Riley Gaines in the nationwide campaign and fight to protect women's sports from the threats of transgenderism.

I think the Supreme Court rejected the notion as Raskin noted due to the 3/5th Compromise. So there is a legal means to do to "persons" as he so aptly saved himself from saying slaves. The question is a moral one, not a legal one and I expect the "GOP" to fail as they always do by making a bigger compromise.

This is so stupid. If you're running your state poorly, people are allowed to leave and go to a better-run state. That better state, attracting more people, is supposed to have more of a say in how things go in government. If you're a lousy state, no one wants to hear from you anyway, and you lose representation. You're not allowed to just vacuum the third world into your state to make up for how dismal a job you're doing. It's actually brilliant if it was allowed to work the way it's supposed to.

Should a person visiting in the USA on a visa be counted on the Census and be represented in Congress?? The Census is NOT just for representation it is counting all citizens and how many residence and migrate. The Census count education and sex. All States, County and Cities have the right for the Federal government to give them the information of the number of citizens that are entitled to vote.

This is what I find fascinating it’s completely legitimate to ask about your sexual orientation how much money you make and what political party you affiliate with on the senses but you can’t ask if you were a US citizen that is stupid and yes, I think it is striped I think that’s a very important question that should be asked.
