With its 19th in-house exhibition in mid-October 2021, ILLIG presented sophisticated, sustainable technical thermoforming solutions for the packaging industry and sent a clear signal for recycling management and climate protection. Plastic-reduced molded parts, solid board blisters and combinations of board and plastic were the focus on the application side. The Circular Thinking! topics were the focus of discussions among the more than 300 participants from 19 nations during the two-day event. At numerous stations, the company showed current high-performance thermoformers, packaging systems, developments in tool making, digitalization and current service topics. With machine and tool demonstrations under production conditions, ILLIG offered a technological performance show at the highest level. ILLIG marks a new record with the 19th event of this kind and reflects the great interest in the thermoforming know-how of the technology leader.
