@@OwenyOwen3672 ik I was just stating that the comment about lucid dreaming ending too fast and the concept of illit being dreamcore. It was a joke. I don't think it was offensive was it??
their songs are gooood love their debut album as well. literally no skips. this album i loveee tick tack a lottttt should’ve been their title track, sound so illit and so funn like magnetic
the "tick-tack" in the song context was about heart racing and nervousness, also symbolize the sound of a ticking clock, worrying about whether someone likes them back.
I personally think the music industry needs a reset to concentrate on skills. To have short songs for shortcut successes to inflate streams has run its course. Hybe, Belift and Source Music need to accept songs that are between 3 and 4 min long as the standard rather than go back to it. We are all tired of songs between 2 and 3 min. I agree with you that the songs are way too short. A second charm for a company product with short songs is not happening. Magnetic carried Super Real Me last time and you thought Belift would have learned their experience. We waited almost 7 months to get this? Promotion is also slow for their comeback. I hope the group becomes self-produced in the future when they told the press they want to lay groundwork to find their own colors to have ownership of the music.
@@TommyDay-kq1jj I haven't heard anything about that because I don't take part of fanwars where lies are spread like wildfire. I don't judge you, but you should stay away from fanwars is my recommendation. I always educate myself first and never be part of headlines on forums because it's not good for anyone's mental health you lose some braincells by taking part of the headlines and then fell into the fanwar trap. It's unclear why they gave us a media showcase on release day without a comeback show on Mnet and then a fan showcase two days after. People thought they were going to announce Youngseo's return because Google removed Youngseo from former member in illit. If it's true she is coming back then this won't explain Belift's slow promotion of illit. She won't even come back in public until award shows are over or the day she terminated her contract. She was not part of the debut nor is she part of the first comeback. She can't perform with illit on songs she never participated. Super Real Me to I'll Like you is structured around OT5. Songs are super short and Youngseo is a rapper and singer so Wonhee works as a placeholder for Youngseo. Wonhee's rap vocals are weak compared to Iroha and Minju. If Youngseo returns I believe songs between 3 and 4 min will be produced. Playlength of the song doesn't matter, if your skills are talented enough people will tune in and stream. It will take longer time to establish your ground but it will pay off in the long run. BIGBANG, BTS, TWICE, Stray Kids and (G)I-DLE went through this path. Shortcut success is shortlived. Organic growth is eternal.
