To those who are complaining/frustrated about the speed of this tutorial I just want to point out that if you click on the gear shaped icon at the bottom of the video you'll see the option that allows you to control the speed. Otherwise, thanks a lot for this excellent tutorial ArmaganVideos. Really helps.

As a beginner to Illustrator, I just watched this entire thing in awe. Great work, but my favorite lesson from this video is patience. I learned some things with the pen and direct select tools too. The only thing I could not follow, no matter how hard I tried, were the clipping masks, but I'll watch tuts on those later!

Wow, this logo is truly a piece of art... I always wondered how people made logos from scratch and it looks like it takes some experience. If you can in the future, it would be nice to make a logo for beginners because this looks like you would need a lot of experience to make something like that from scratch.

I've tried the Illustrator just a few hours ago and it's amazing, I've been using so long time photoshop for some typography and this is like new level, everything so complex tho :D

For anyone coming here who is just starting out, be patient and as you use photoshop you will get better. If you want to start making things like this, find a picture and trace it with the pen tool. Once you get good enough at that move on to just a reference picture, like he did here :) good luck

WOW! This logo is really amazing!

you have a great channel, and i really enjoy watching you work. i also learn alot of keyboard short cuts that i never use... i really did like that you took it upon yourself to draw freehand, and not trace the snake graphic. however, in this particular design, i think you overcomplicated things alot using all those clipping masks. i feel it could have been simplified alot by using compound paths, and doing the bulk of the edits/knock outs while on the compound shape itself. (while all elements positioned in their exact places prior to this). it would have gotten rid of alot of anchor points, and would have also given the offset/mitre closer to the effect you were after, without having to edit so much of it. if i were a designer, and would have to work this logo into a design,i would have had to spend more time trying to break up elements and re-layer them than you took to design it. just my 2 cents. we all work differently. keep up the great work, enjoy your channel alot.
