Proud Ilongga and grateful for your nice impression of the city. I may not be residing in the place since 1995 but I am so happy to see again familiar places you have included in your itinerary. More power Mel and Enzo. New subscriber to your channel here.
Meron kasi mga terminal ang jeepneys and buses sa Iloilo kaya medyo mahirap intindihin yung route ng mga jeepneys. But madaming taxi at grab taxi sa Iloilo. If you’re going in Iloilo go to Coastal or Tatoy’s or Breakthrough.Yung Rawit sa Central market masarap yun.Meron din yung sa Paluto sa fish port at sa Coastal.
Let me tell you a way to get inside Jaro Cathedral : Look for the left side Altar at the far end. The dooe at rhe left side Altar is always half open Go inside.

Did You Know? Some of oldest bakeries in the Philippines can be found in Iloilo City. PRIDE OF ILOILO CITY 🏆 "Don't go home without it" 📌Biscocho haus Est.1975 (The most trending bakery) 📌Deocampo Barquillos Bakery Est.1896 (Iloilo's second oldest bakery) 📌Panaderia de Molo Est.1872 (Probably PH oldest bakery) Iloilo is indeed the City where the past is always present and truly the UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy in the Philippines.
We tried and naguwi ng Biscocho, di na namin naivlog. Yes, masarap sya at tamang tama yung lasa, di masyado matamis. Pati yung tigas nya sakto, di makakasira ng ngipin. 😊❤️
#armandcuenca-fyd. Now you have many more places to go jogging in, including all the other beautiful newly rehabilitated plazas of Jaro, La Paz, Villa Arevalo, and Plaza Libertad. And from Molo Plaza, you can just walk for 5 minutes at Locsin to get to Esplanade 2, and from there have access to all the 11 Esplanades, 10 kilometers all beside the IloIlo River. Also explore the yet unopened but already being used as jogging areas by residents , from Molo Plaza - the SUNSET BOULEVARD and the DONGON CREEK ESPLANADES AND BIKING LANES.
Have you experienced traffic in Iloilo City? Did you compare the traffic in Metro Manila with the one in Iloilo? Have you seen provincial buses or jeepneys in the city? Just imagine the traffic if jeepneys from Molo, Villa, Manduriao, Lapaz and Lapuz would ply their routes up to Jaro? And imagine the traffic. With the system in Iloilo, was it not that your travel is faster?
BTW, mangoes in Guimaras Island are one of the best if not the best in the Philippines. Try their mango pizza as well. Sa Iloilo City, try to go to Tatoys if you are into fresh seafood.
As far as the whole Philippines is concern.. the best mangoes are in Guimaras... But ask the Ilonggos.. they will usually tell you they prefer the LEON, ILOILO mangoes.
