Beautiful and no screaming or screeching 'oh my god', I've seen the video several times from different angles and this was the best. Breath taking, Mother Nature at her best, definitely xx
Louisew1969, That screaming "Oh, my God" drives me crazy, too. It's so overused, for one thing. Maybe I'm just crabby, but I don't like these people who can't see something without wanting to be part of the show. I'd be so tempted to turn on that person and snarl something about shutting up and enjoy the show with your mouth shut.
dont know if anyone cares but if you are stoned like me during the covid times you can stream all the latest series on InstaFlixxer. Have been binge watching with my gf these days =)
You are one of the privileged few who have witnessed something so majestic as this with your own eyes, I bet your heart was pounding as it all unfolded, great filming, no screams, no shouts of "Oh my God".!! just the natural sounds of the berg cracking and the water made for an epic video, Thank you.
Stunning place to visit. Saw several acts of calving, but they were only a few tons (1 - 25) a piece. This would have been in it’s thousands. Amazing how quickly there follows a Tsunami.
Its his camera and his trip so he can shoot it however he likes! I’m just totally blown away seeing it all and would never get there in a million years ..... thanks for sharing! 😊
ani catt at least it wasn’t filled with: oh my God look at that I can’t believe it oh wow holy shit can you see that can’t believe it, Like so many videos are. 😁
Sooooooo much better hearing nothing but the ice cracking and water moving, probably the best recording I have heard to date! 5 out of 5 stars mate! Good on ya!
Thanks for relaying such videos to watch, to know the Nature's activities n enjoy with patience. Thanks to those who have done such very great work. I hatts off to them. Best Regards.
What a spectacle! Amazing power of nature moving megaton chunks of ice! Archimedes would be orgasming!! Thanks you for sharing (nearly nine years ago....lol)
This is one of the best calving videos that I've seen. How you remained quiet during this is beyond me. I can't imagine how intense this must have been to experience in person. Not one 'Oh my God' , 'Holy crap' , or 'Look at that' makes you the king of RU-vid when it comes to narration. And besides that, this wasn't recorded on a shaky smart phone, as the clarity is amazing. Thank you for sharing something I'd otherwise never get to see. Cheers mate.
What a truly awe-inspiring thing. Bo Baake, were you in disbelief that you were able to capture this? Did you watch it for a very long time on the chance, or were there indications that calving was coming? ♥♥♥
Hej Bo ! Se evt. detaljer fra slædeturen her: kelds.weebly.com/slaeligdeturen.html sejlturen her: kelds.weebly.com/sejltur-til-ilulissat.html
No shouting and clapping. No cries of 'THERE IT GOES!' or 'Holy crap!!' Just ice crunching against ice and the roar of smashed waves. Perfect. Thank you. PS. HOLY CRAP!! lol
It is the famous Unesco-site: Ilulissat Icefjord in Northen Greenland. One can come there by plane via Kangerlussuaq. See www.airgreenland.com or seek out the travelling companies that offer fixed tours to Ilulissat/Greenland
