Hello David, I've sent a proposal to your email. I also sent a follow-up message recently. Kindly take a moment to go through it at your earliest convenience.
@@iulianpartenie6260 seems like it. Ilya truly is like modern day Einstein. He caused a breakthrough. That should give people immediate access to resources in the field.
@@Tocametalheart Do you put climate change on the guy who invented the petrol car? It's an inevitable technological direction for human kind, it's huge work which is going to improve our lives a lot. Of course this can be dangerous as well. Same for all, like the industrial revolution made many people jobless, but hen later they got other more interesting jobs. You can't look at it in a black and white way, because it's not the truth
Well after current events Ilya might not be remembered at all but by experts in the field. Sam Altman might be remembered as the edison of this time. Sometimes the geniuses that gave us the modern world are forgotten
5:25 He didn't donate 1b to OpenAI. He's always claimed it was 100 million but after a few years he started claiming he didn't remember the exact amount and it was about 50 million. The real number is unknown but some tax inspections suggest the number is closer to 50 million.
Really appreciated this high-level story of Ilya's life & work in AI! What made it engaging was the way each story beat clearly pushed the story forward with either a "therefore" or "but.. (In fact, I'd say your script & story are so strong that the MrBeast-style music in the background made it *harder* to follow the story, not easier. First, it was distracting. Second, it gave what is otherwise a very serious story a bit of a cartoonish feel. I know this is RU-vid where attention can feel scarce, but I'd trust your own instincts & taste rather than imitating the attention-hungry vibes of other videos. You've clearly got a lot of talent!)
Good to see some credit is given the person who knew something more than running his mouth. I've been astonished about the story we hear about Sam Altman, a school dropout. Haven't we seen this story before a couple of times.
Superb mini documentary. Clarifies a gap re: Elon leaving...and why he would never come back as a replacement for Altman...and the genius of Altman. Thank you.
guys i like ilya and the others dont get me wrong .. but there is a sad thing happening here . ilya and the open ai team did indeed build cool stuff but i think the credits should be to the ppl who actually invented the transformer architecture and the attention . those did the most challenging part .
He was already a well known person, he was CTO of Open AI and he didn't said I will build an AGI in age 16 wth. AGI is something not even properly defined today.
wow! Truly amazed by this video that has nothing to envy to a fancy documental. Well done my friend, and I hope to see what's next for the years to come
@@DavidOndrej if I didn’t dig into the comments would have left here thinking you were a not a trustworthy source of information about anything . the fact that you left that part out of the video made me not trust the rest of the info.
