A lot of families, especially in the UK, had (and some still have) Nannies to care for their kids until a certain age, and they call the kids area of the house the "Nursery", so when he's talking about "life before he left the nursery", he likely wasn't referring to himself as a baby, but as an older child who had a "Naught Nanny" taking care of him...make of that what you will...lol.

No, lol. Nursery is the equivalent of Kindergarten. And it's not(and rarely was) in your house for the vast majority of people. For kids aged from idk, 1yr old perhaps, 'till starting infants school at around 5/6yrs old. Mine was in a building a 10min drive from my house, and before that it was in a huge house down the street.

Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara; 5 September 1946 - 24 November 1991)[2] was a British singer, songwriter, record producer, and lead vocalist of the rock band Queen. Regarded as one of the greatest lead singers in the history of rock music, he was known for his flamboyant stage persona and four-octave vocal range. Mercury defied the conventions of a rock frontman, with his highly theatrical style influencing the artistic direction of Queen. Born in 1946 in Zanzibar to Parsi-Indian parents, he attended English-style boarding schools in India from the age of eight and returned to Zanzibar after secondary school. In 1964, his family fled the Zanzibar Revolution, moving to Middlesex, England. Having studied and written music for years, he formed Queen in 1970 with guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor. Mercury wrote numerous hits for Queen, including "Killer Queen", "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Somebody to Love", "We Are the Champions", "Don't Stop Me Now", and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love". His charismatic stage performances often saw him interact with the audience, as displayed at the 1985 Live Aid concert. He also led a solo career and served as a producer and guest musician for other artists. Mercury died in 1991 at age 45 due to complications from AIDS From Wikipedia. Just search him. He did so much for the music industry. He confirmed the day before he died it was AIDS positive

Loved your reaction! Freddie was definitely ready for anything from an early age. LOL. Actually he was sent to boarding school to a British school in India when he was 7 years old, so he was still a baby when he had to get along without his parents for years. He said it made him very self sufficient at an early age. Brian May wrote Fat Bottomed Girls but Freddie Wrote The Song Bicycle Race which kind of goes along with Fat Bottomed Girls because When Freddie sings Fat Bottomed girls he screams, get on your bikes and ride. I think you will find the official video very eye-popping. I won't tell you the story so as not to ruin your reaction. Just please react to it.

Watched this video two days ago and thought it might get to you eventually. Back in the day there was a cover band where I'm from that did this one and there were always fat bottomed girls out there on the dance floor; they didn't know the lyrics but it's an easy enough song to dance to. Those young ladies had no idea what they were shuffling to.

This song has a "sister song" that usually is played in tandem with Fat Bottomed Girls, namely "Bicycle Race" Those two songs belong together. In this song he has the lyric "Get on your bikes and ride!!" and in Bicycle race there is a lyric stating "Fat Bottomed girls they'll be riding today" so yeah, they very much belong together and kinda can be seen as a part 1 and part 2 of the same song. Great react again my man :D

This naughty song was written by the very gentlemanly, scholarly Dr. Brian May, the lead guitarist (& an astrophysicist). He also wrote a surprising little song called "Tie Your Mother Down" which you should also do!💙 And the line at the end when Freddie says "Get on your bikes & ride!" is referring to the follow up song "Bicycle Race". The 2 songs were usually played together. It's a fun one too. You'd get a kick out of the Official video. If you do it you'll see why!👀🌿💚 Either of those would be good for you to do but you really need to do "Somebody to Love" soon...worth doing the studio version AND the live Montreal '81 version.💙
