Question for anyone who plays PvP: Why is it, that when using Registeel that so many people say, "I'm going to bait with the Zap Cannon", even though Zap Cannon costs more energy than Focus Blast? Wouldn't Focus Blast be the bait move?
It’s my birthday today! Man, what a video to start the day off! Henry never misses! Hax is so underrated in OGL. Such a cool pick and one of the best Pokémon up shields 🫡
Thank you for restoring my faith in the American English grammar Henry! So nice to hear you say "could have gone" when so many content creators (native speakers of English at that!) say "could have went"... Kudos to you! 💪
@@HomeSliceHenry thanks for the inspiration. Whilst I had plenty of time left in the season I was still getting nervous! Nothing more satisfying then landing EQ through shields
I love ABB teams. but id like to hear whats the game plan before going to the battles. like who gets sheilded, whos the safe switch expected to catch. that stuff.
he says alot in the video that medicham is his safe swap or sacrificial pokemon cause he doesnt need switch advantage most games and hes saving a shield advantage for haxorus.
It’s not far better to my knowledge than Sludge Wave anyway, and Sludge Wave I believe is reached in one poison jab sooner, so speed > DPE, kind of like Surf vs Weather ball on politoed
It has to do with the way CP is calculated. The CP formula scales proportionally to Attack, but the *square root of* both Defense and Stamina, so having a high Attack IV means you reach the 1500 CP Great League limit much faster than if you minimize Attack IV and maximize Defense/Stamina IVs. I hope that at least makes things a little clearer.
Sableye is a definite weak spot of the team, I rely on an overload strategy. Basically, sableye isn't strong enough to 1v3, I use toxapex and hax to get rid of it, then medi can sweep :)
