Good morning Marisol! I really enjoyed the entire family's instant reaction to your baby!! That's what I do, I let people know right away that my doll isn't real. That way we have a good understanding from the start. People seem to enjoy the dolls more after the initial shock is over. My goal is always for natural good reactions and not cause heart attacks lol! I also enjoy shopping!💗👚👛👠

Thanks sis.. I hope 🤞 to learn and get better at it. The baby sold😃 I bought more colors of paints with the cash. I’m going to wash 2 kits today and set them out to dry so I can get started on my next doll on Wednesday. Wish me luck 🍀 😁

Marisol dear, we are always our own worst critic. That's why it's good to show other people your work for a more objective opinion. Honestly? I think you did very well for your very first doll. I have heard (I don't know personally) that baking for a few extra minutes will get rid of the chalky /ashy thing the matt varnish can do. It's supposed to mean it wasn't baked long enough. So you might want to ask around to see if it's true. I have also heard to thin the varnish with thinner from multiple sources. So I dunno. I hope to start painting soon. I admit to being nervous to start. I was mostly worried about the smell/fumes. So it's good to hear you didn't have issues with it. I'd imagine the trickiest thing to get the hang of is getting your paint thinned enough. Also worried about rooting. lol Louis is a cutie pie. 🥰🥰
Hi love ❤️ yes getting started can make you nervous. It did for me. As for the varnish you DONT mix varnish with the thinner. Varnish goes straight on the kit and then heat it 2 times and repeat. Don’t be scared to try just do it. It’s ok to mess up. That’s how you learn. I watched nloverwithreborn2012 painting tutorial 100 times and a lot of others too but she was good.

You did good for your first time and you are right Practice makes perfect You will get better with each baby One thing I would like to share if you don’t already know Is unlike silicone with vinyl if you don’t like something about the paint you can just wipe it off with acetone and start over Faster too to remove do over verses toning down But seriously he yes he looks adorable 🤗🥰
You did great for your first baby! I love the color of his lips! Are you just using paint and thinner on the creases, if so, what are you doing after you plaint in the creases? You truly did good.
@@marisolsdollnursery836 Just a tip if you aren't already doing it, I also use a fan brush or you can use any narrow brush that fits in the creases and gently pounce to get any of the left hard to reach pooled paint. creases to me take the longest, but when you look at the part that you just crease you can see the baby come to "life" it's beautiful! You should be proud as you did a great job!

I’ve painted a couple of these babies so far and I wasn’t happy with my results but this last one I’m enjoying taking my time, I’m gonna have a time sealing in the paint because the last product I brought had my baby looking like I bathed her in Vaseline 😂😂😂
