Well, paper notes doesn't convert handwriting into digital text, and this is a big deal for someone like me who likes to archive the end product in a digital form on the cloud. + You can read and highlight PDFs, so it's basically a kindle replacement.
No idea what features your talking about. I've never had the subscription and I've been using all the features on it just fine for about a year, note syncing, text conversion, emailing, etc. The big thing is probably the limited storage, but if you're just taking hand written notes, you can easily thousands of pages on the free tier.

The Tablet to take notes is called ReMarkable amd it costs around 350$ but also you have to pay a monthly subscription to be able to trasnfer your data from the Tablet to your Laptop!! You have also to pay for the magic pen that comes with it. And you need a cover to protect it.

That’s not what I learned. I learned that it always moves from an area of higher water concentration to one of lower concentration. I haven’t studied it in years but that was what was taught. 🤷🏻♀️
@@iShereeone and the same thing lol, you didn't understand it I guess. Low water concentration is the same as high solute concentration ( referred to as just concentration) Similarly high water concentration is same as low solute concentration.
My friends parents once used the phone lock thing for her phone. A magnet would reset the device and she'd get her phone out within seconds lol. It's pathetically easy to unlock.
for the cost of "that" notebook, you can get a tablet that does have access to social media and a pen and can show colors and play movies and browse sites, what kind of crack are they smoking? $549 U.S. They also sell screen protectors that mimic the feel of paper with an S-pen (but other brands have it too)
It has been scientifically proven that using pen and paper is better for the brain, as well as being more cost-effective. (and just a better experience)

The tablet is called a reMarkable and I ADORE MINE!!! I saw it in my master’s program and fell in love with it. Got one when I began PhD studies. Super useful. You can send and store whole books on it, annotate pdfs, rearrange pages in your notebooks and move the text around with marque tools, and even concert your notes to text and email them off. I always write notes by hand, and with physical paper and pen I couldn’t easily add more. If I was assigned 7 articles for homework, I’d either have to leave blank pages between each one or write an addendum later from class discussion. The remarkable gives great flexibility. Plus, I just have to load my assigned readings to it and I’m good for class. I don’t need a laptop and a notebook and a textbook etc etc. Just this thing, maybe a thumbdrive if Im presenting. I’ve never been in class or at a conference and had it die on me, the wifi connectivity is good, and the storage space is GOATED. I have multiple books on it and it’s no where close to full. LOVE REMARKABLE!!! Would recommend.
The first one in India is for 75k Indian parents are way more strict about getting 10k things Just for even talking about this would get us out of the home 😂😂
I need that first one but I'm too broke for it😂. Might be very useful for someone like me who writes a lot. Although Pen and Paper have their aesthetic appeal, it's good to have this while not at your home table.
the concept of remarkable (the note thing) is actually pretty dope, sadly sometimes some settings or previously used features got burnt into the screen. sometimes i was able to remove it, sometimes not. the cloud system worked not that fine and in the end i got myself an ipad with the strict rule of not downloading any social media or video apps
These electronic notebooks are not for everyone. Paper notebooks are still hands down the better option as they don't require batteries, always are ready to go, are much more durable, won't loose your notes as they have a glitch or you drop them and are better for archiving and keeping records. The return is not worth the price for a digital notebook. If one wants to save assurance or move away from having so many notebooks just get s Rocket Book
I purchased the remarkable but then sent it back. It is paper replacement that is no lie there but it’s very hard to read PDFs on it which is what I wanted too

note taking is more convenient to use it than paper and pen sometimes. if it is important and valuable to me for a long time, i prefer writing it on paper to electrical device.
nothing can completely replace pen, pencil and paper. eink is a good alternative, but won't be a complete replacement. With so many new models coming out every quarter, the amount of ewaste accumulated is increasing so much.
I love digital note taking, but I'd never get this kind of device. Just get a tablet with a paper screen protector, you still have the functionality of a tablet with the writing experience of this thing.
The first option is a scam. They charge an subscription for their basic features and once you buy it its like this company is doesent care about your purchase after you buy it. I was emailing them for like a week and they never answered....

I like the tablet for work instead of hunting for post-it notes. Wish there was a direct link here for ordering it, instead of sending me on a Google hunt. 😢
