I’ve watched just about every review for the iMac and I have to say yours is by far the best looking. I’m not sure if the design language of your set/place complements the new iMac best or its just wonderful lighting on your part. Anyways, great content. Subscribed.
Nice review! With many reviewer’s stating that the computer weighs 9 pounds, it’s entirely possible that Belkin or another manufacture will design a travel case for the iMac, allowing people to take it with them wherever they go.
I just ordered this, also in blue! Honestly, I need another computer like a need a hole in the head. My 2014 iMac is still running flawlessly and I just got a new MacBook Pro not even a year ago and a new Alienware desktop PC about 4 months ago, but I've had my eye on this for several months. I had a weak moment and caved!
Wow this was a spectacular review! The notion about it crashing once or twice a week going full tilt is enough for me to avoid this and wait for the 27 inch with more ram. What specific things were you running at the same time that made the crashes occur?
What are your thoughts on the 8gb RAM? All I do is stream netflix, youtube, watch some films etc. For work I have Slack open, Photoshop with roughly 4/5 files open (not that big) and google Chrome with 4/5 tabs minimum opened. Will 8gb be enough for me? I will admit, I proabably wont use it as much for work compared to my MBP though.
What is the purpose of having magnetic power cord for a desktop? Does the iMac have a built-in battery? If not, then if someone trips over the cable then all works gone
The question would be… How would this computer hold on through time? Apple like to use what is called planned obsolescence, perhaps 3 years? Also, this is a disposable computer. I see it would be difficult to repair if something during it life time fails. No Upgrades, you are stuck with the same config until you can afford a new one. I like the CPU but not the business model.
Loved the video like always, but, I would love to see a review where people talk about video editing using adobe premiere, since a lot of people use it as their main editing software, myself included.
It’s expensive so if anything breaks or you want accessories they will cost a lot. But apple products last for years. I’ve had my MacBook since 10grade and I’m now a junior in college
