How would you position an image in another image. For example, say I want to put a smaller image into a bigger one but also specify where to put the smaller image in the bigger image. Say i want to put the bottom image at certain x and y values... Anybody know???!
thats so cool , i would like to use this to count obects such as in a inventory , like lets say i go to an action am bidding on certain items like used phones i can easily snapp and run to calculate the amount by shape detection . another scenerio worm count , i buy worms for my garden i can use it to count them on the fly. any chance you can provide the code so i can then process it to gui in matlab ?

That is so cool, Is there full free MatLab version to train and simulate, since in college we don't have enough time to practice it, among studying for other subjects and doing projects and assignments O.o I did install the student version on my PC but it wrecked my PC which made me to format the whole machine O.o (and once I am not student anymore next year, then the license will expire)
using matlab 2014r , but when i view the image using imshow , i dont get any of these pixel related tools at all . only basic plotting tools . please help

Hi Please someone help with the following problem. For my application, I will be using a camera to take multiple images of certain types of mushrooms. I want to use image processing toolbox and deep learning CNN to recognize the 'only that type of mushroom which has a diameter larger than 3cm and smaller than 5cm'(I can do the same by opening up the individual image on imtool command and by measuring the distance using a ruler manually) what i want is that the code should read, analyse and process image, send the coordinates or position(or pixel location) automatically and repeatedly on different images on its own.... Is this even possible using matlab and if yes please help me about how? Please help.. Regards Arun
