Oh my gosh I think I just reconnected with my childhood...

Oh my god.... I borrowed this from the library SO MANY times as a kid. Just over and over.

As a kid, the ending part used to make me cry but idk why Now older, it makes me want to cry thinking about the old days and how beautiful and innocent they were

Anytime! I played this VHS so much it broke. I never saw it again. I finally remembered what it was called, and bought another one. Then here it went!

i remember watching this every single year in elementary school in music class. I remember the bird scene always made me cry, and now watching it as a high schooler in makes me smile and also sad knowing that I'm growing up. This video was such a major part of my childhood and I hope that my music teacher is still there showing this to new kindergarteners and making memories for them as she did for me.

When I was in kindergarten, I saw this for the first time when my music teacher showed my class this video. We watched it every year in elementary school music class. Now, over 20 years later, I show it to my music classes! We have come full circle!

My favorite childhood movie in existence, even today it's still amazing. If I ever have kids they are definitely watching this.

bro this is like the most vivid memory I have of kindergarten, I distinctly remember during the ending song, one of my classmates next to me just kept saying goodbye to everything on screen and ended with "G O O D B Y E R O C K"

This is essentially "The Mind's Eye" for kids.

I'm pretty sure I watched this on acid back in 07 and it blew my fragile mind.

My brother and I used to check this VHS out from the library all the time when we were kids. Then our library got rid of all the VHS tapes and we were so sad. Thanks for posting this little gem.

As a child, I got this movie out of the library so often, my mom eventually bought me a copy. Now, in my 30s, I still watch it on occasion. Then, it was a fun, fantastical world that I loved so much, I would cry when it was over. Now, it's a trip, and I still tear up at the end. xD I still love it.

Honestly I admire these old cgi films because back in the day computer animation was still considered experimental nowadays it's just a cheap way to make movies. Now As an animator myself I do know that there's much more to it but I'm also aware that once you get good at it it's cheaper and quicker to make an animated movie than live action, because of this live action family films are practically dead.

I remember being shown this during Art class when I was in like 4th grade. I LOVED this movie. I eventually got it as a gift bc I wanted it so bad! I wish they would remaster it and put it on a Blu-ray or allow the remastered version to be streamed. I would definitely buy it!

Oh, my. In elementary, we had old vs in every room that required VHS tapes, and when we were in art, our art teacher played it on our last art day before school ended, and our last art day for any breaks on a VHS tape. Ha, all my friends and I would sing to the shapes and sizes song.

I could imagine there being a theme park inspired by this VHS show. The theme park would be called Imaginaria, of course. This brings back memories!

My moms story of how we got this video is that I begged her for it at a Tower Records as a toddler after seeing it on display. We weren’t well off, so $10 was a big ask but my mom got it anyways. I proceeded to watch it daily as a kid. I’m 32 now and am so happy to have it on RU-vid to come back to when I need a little comfort

I still have dreams about this video from like 15 years ago. I used to consider them nightmares but now they're just relics of my childhood. haha Would definitely recommend for children. I think I'm better off for having watched it then not regardless of the nightmares

In college (2005 ) I had told my buddies about Imaginaria and how incredible it was. One of them went on ebay and got us a copy. I was very happy to spread the joy of Imaginaria to others as of course they loved it. Also we got super high before watching it, great little afternoon. 😎 Thanks for uploading this modern mastapiece!

If your still there I had a Imaginaria when I was a kid but Its different from this one. the one I had came with a ad for other videos and what it had is 4 other tapes and this must be tape 3 based on the clips here that it was advertising. but I dont know which one I had... BUT I remember every video.

The very first time I watched this was at my art class at Washington Middle School. I believe it was in 2002. The music and animation are very delightful. I'm sure I would've loved this as a little kid. I loved it when I watched it in art class, and I also love it today. :)

I finally found this after years and years of searching. My elementary school music teacher would show this video to us every single year, and it became ingrained into my brain. I couldn't ever find it cuz I thought its title was "Imagine It!" but I guess I was wrong lol I also remember a song that was about "finding out where the wind came from," but I guess that was from a different disc. Only time will tell if I ever find that one too lmao

I just want to thank you so much for uploading this, this was my favorite childhood movie and its lovely to see someone appreciates it as much as i do.

There is actually another Imagination video I have never seen before in my life called “Imaginit” (also from Miramar). I know, it’s really a hard-to-find one for sure. I’m guessing the latter sequel is not as good as this. I only grew up with “Imaginaria” along with Computer Animation Festival Vol. 1&2 (both from Miramar). Man I really miss those days of me in my youth watching these tapes. :,( Update/edit: 6:32-6:57 Does anyone know what this short is called? The title is not even mentioned in the end credits
