I discovered John's poems today, the first day of 2024 - and his birthday. I think of this coincidence as a gentle yet powerful blessing for the year. I will carry his incredible insights with me in the journey of becoming who I am and living the life my heart wants. Blessings to you forever, John.
We’re all addicts. My addiction is thinking. When I frantically listen to political, economic, sociological talks I feel satisfied, but mildly edgy. I listen to John O’Donohue talks and my whole body relaxes.

I have been immensely gifted to find John O'Donohue, his poetry and being, and I am so grateful for this opportunity to open new doors for myself through his work.
I used to be fortunate to live by the sea. Sheltered by sweet smelling evergreens on one side of a gravel road my dog and I would walk listening to John’s words on beauty as I gazed onto the nearby islands and shimmering waters. His voice was soothing to my spirit and his words resonated in the deepest way as I experienced my surroundings . Thank you for posting this. I miss him and hope to see more of his works on your site.

I feel like I have met an awesome friend, that we sat by the Sea and drank tea with cream, and left to be with an elderly woman who needs encouragement, then, I sent him my book of poetry when I arrived back in the states-what a sunset! May the protection of the ancestors be yours, John..
Only became acquainted with his writings recently, which drew together lots of threads for me. Although he is now dead, reading his stuff feels like a wise and encouraging hand on the shoulder.
Rhona Tolchard --I can so relate like gathering up the threads - the loose threads that I had thought and experienced for such a long time but we're lacking a gathering thread...so freeing, I will never be the same
What a prescient talk - about John’s own life, as well as ours. What a gift he left us with his writing and his speaking. I can’t imagine anyone not benefitting from this talk.
So much food for thought and reflection here. Tomorrow 14 years ago John's life here on earth at least ended,however may he have experienced being known as intimately by God in God's presence as he shared in his talk here. He continues to be a blessing through his writings and recordings such as this. Thank you.
I was recently introduced to the wonderful words of this beautiful soul through a book leant to me by a friend. The words truly channel God's intention. John wherever you are in spirit world, I am immense grateful for finding your voice.

Check out the Beautiful music of Clannad, an Irish group. Their music is a lovely accompaniment to O’Donohue....it carries me to a higher level of peace and contentment.
