Hundred percent agreed. I think this is one of the greatest songs ever written on a lyrical, symbolic, and instrumental basis. Even though there’s no music video for it, I think the song is even better served to let us visualize this confrontation. My favorite he’s ever made
I think you have to listen to the song Mansion again, especially the last half. Also in Outro he says, "Listen to Intro 3, trying to kill my fear. They'll get that in a minute..." Now that you know it's Fear talking, listen to Intro 3 again and it'll make more sense. For parts of it, NF and Fear are talking back and forth. It's tricky to tell who is who sometimes, but it starts with Fear and ends with NF. NF buries his Fear. Fear was with him during the abuse, but it was also on stage with him, and a lot of his songs are written because of the fear he's experienced in his life. He references a song he wrote for Johnny. We assume this was his mother's boyfriend who abused him. He wrote the song without Fear, but he needs Anger to write it, so he can't bury Anger. I'm hoping he'll release this song on the next album.
If you remember in "outro" one of the last lines he Says "listen to intro III Trying to kill my fear"... didn't catch that til like a week ago but yeah
It's fear! He finally buried it. Johnny is believed to be his Mom's boyfriend that use to beat them. NF is hanging onto anger for the song he writes about Johnny.
I feel like you are gonna have a bunch of people correcting you and telling you what this song is, but honestly I really like what your interpretation was! The idea of this song shows Nate getting out of his head and moving forward MAKES SENSE!! The albums after this album, Nate goes crazy and goes hay wire on all tracks! And it also makes sense with the popular meaning in this song, how he had to kill his fear in order to do it. I love the journey you're going on man, the NF train be riding deep!
Still 4 hours... ohhhhh, I am SO excited about this one!! My son and I have been watching you since did When I Grow Up... I think I subscribed that day.
Love Ur reaction. This song is a masterpiece.goosebumbs all over.johnny was the New Partner from his mum.and nate battle with Fear here.so excited for the next one.i think u will like it.
To be perfectly honest, I had to listen to this song a crapload of times before it started to “click” for me. I guarantee it took a lot of us in these comments several listens to understand it. I still don’t know exactly what I’m hearing with each line. I thought you did a great job!
Wow I never caught that with the photo of NF and the hand! You're right... look at the awkward angle. No one would cover their mouth like that. It's like the Fear inside him is trying to shut him up because now he is fighting back.
It was fear talking to him. He talked about mansion and letting him. Beacon mansion he let fear in. He mentions no name which is a song coming up also. Great reaction bro.
Amazing reaction my friend Don!!....In 2017, the music world was shocked by the bursting onto the scene of a 22-year-old singer named Dimash Kudaibergen, who performed on the famous Chinese competition show for professional singers called “The Singer”... It was just It was necessary for this young man to make his first appearance, making a cover of one of the most difficult songs in the world, a famous French composition called "S.O.S. D'un Terrien En Détresse", to be considered from that moment on as the best singer in the entire planet....No one in the musical field had ever seen a human being, being able to reach vocal ranges above 7 octaves and several semitones, that is, all 88 keys of a digital piano, which reaches a little more than 7 octaves and as if that weren't enough, sing the more than 12 languages...Since then all kinds of experts (Vocal coach, analysts, singing teachers, youtubers, reactors, etc.) have dedicated themselves to reviewing their presentations to try to understand how someone can sing this way...The incredible thing is that that presentation in China was in 2017 and 5 years have passed since then, but what Dimash has done in these 5 years is to further improve his wide vocal range, which is currently practically above of the 8 octaves... The Covid pandemic stopped his concerts worldwide, all with tickets sold in just seconds, via the internet, but at the same time it ended up catapulting him to the top of popularity worldwide...Anyway, since I think you are one of those reactors who have not yet met this impressive singer, here is the link of that presentation in China in 2017, with the song S.O.S. and I would like you to mention my name as the person who recommended him to you... Your channel will explote with thousands of views, comments and new subscribers, so be prepared with a notebook and a pen to write a lot of requests....This is a more recent video than the others, so it does not have the same number of views as the previous ones, which have millions of views, but it is a more complete video, with an intro, subtitles in several languages and with the improved quality of audio and sound....ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bDX3FhmyNac.html
To me 1 of his coldest bars waz when fear said " what r u outta ur mind? Guess both of us will b come on let's go outside" "Outta ur mind " mind is his mansion" 🤯🤯🤯
Ah I really thought you'd catch it but that's okay. A lot of people don't their first time. Make sure you go back and listen to it again now that you know it was Fear talking and it's direct tie from Mansion. Gives off a whole new vibe listening to the song when fear is personified as a person. It's crazy good! 🔥
He was essentially burying fear in this one which was described in Mansion. He is taking fear out of his head (mansion) and killing it. :) I loved watching your face as you started figuring it out. This is the best song ever recorded along w/ Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen IMO. Imagine this w/ a live orchestra. Johnny was his stepfather I think. Did you catch the bar where he said he wish he was burying fear? That might be a future intro. Sooo good. Great reaction, man. Always great. God Bless.
I never looked at the album cover art the way you did, but I see exactly what you're saying about him covering his mouth. I agree that could be the intent, but who knows. I don't lol. As far as Johnny goes... Johnny is the name NF uses to refer to his abuser. I don't think NF explicitly says who his abuser was. NF hasn't made a song about Johnny yet and who knows if he ever will.
Song is definitely 🔥🔥🔥🔥 .....can't help but think he was inspired by Em's My Darling, which is also FLAMEZZZ. The next song is my personal fave from this album, edging out Remember This. #nfrealmusic
@@DonVon because people help and tell us to hear Mansion and Outro before Intro 3, then it's matter of connecting the dots, where did fear came to his house? the basement. What happened in the basement? He was phisically abused by the mothers boyfriend. What sentiment came from there beside fear? Anger, that he's going to need to write a song about Johnny, that lives in the basement. So this is a "to continued" from what i know the song about Johnny is not out, yet
Johnny is Nate's dad who abused Nate and now nate is out of his cage so he's talking to the emotions and I think intro l intro ll and intro III is all the emotions that has been there when he was a kid and now nate has released those emotions and like he said he won't bury anger because he's using that for the next song
