I agree with what you said, their most popular songs are the more radio friendly songs and get overplayed. Everyone judges them based on that style when they have quite a mixture of songs, so it’s unfair to criticize them imo

The voice breaking, the sheer pain in his voice. Feels like tears are blocking off his screams halfway in his throat. To my shame I'll have to confess that I've just recently came across their mercury albums. But let me tell you. I instantly teared up at this song. Hits a spot in myself I've thought I buried deep enough. Thanks for your honest reaction.

I’ve listened to all their albums and I really think they get shit on way too much, but I think it’s because it’s become a running joke like with nickelback. I’ve seen them live a few times and they’re incredibly talented musicians, and the lead singer Dan is an amazing performer! They have some really great songs with great meanings, even the ‘corny’ ones for the radio are genuine because Dan just likes writing corny/cliche shit he feels sometimes as he’s said. Hope you check more of their stuff out!

imagine dragons describe themselves as genreless band....so some of their songs are fully pop like believer and stuff you hear on radio. Their rock music is also different from other rock bands....as their rock songs are dominated by drums....you shoud listen to warriors, battle cry and live version of radioactive....you will understand what im trying to say
