I can see him being this protective but if I was doing something wrong I’d prefer honesty. Like if something I make is too salty or cooked wrong. Mainly because I would just continue making it that way thinking that it’s fine. I don’t cook often because I don’t like to cook but there are a few dishes that I can make that I know are good because I eat them when the preparation for them is done.
