This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences.
After a transport strike in Córdoba city, Lucas started looking for a solution
to avoid that thousands of people be left without means transport to get to their jobs.
This way was born the Gi Bike project, a smart bike, light, electric and folding which its first prototype, of great visual impact and minimalist design, includes a series of innovations that make it the bike of the future, according to the specialized press.
The first prototype was achivied thanks to the financing of the "Agencia Nacional de Promoción Tecnológica", a soft credit from the "Banco de Córdoba" and money from friends, family and of their own.
In order to concretize the project and to start the mass production, Lucas and his partners begun a campaign to raise 400 thousand dollars in the crowfunding platform Kickstarter, where they raise over 110 thousand dollars.
