I just googled this guy because I randomly remembered that song he did called Worth It. Can't believe it's 10 years old. That song has a special place in my heart.
Subbed in under a minute in. I’ve Dj on and on for 20 years and it rubbed off on my 12 year old Son, he’s passionate about making beats, even more than he is gaming and football . He was given access to Soundtrap from his school which is amazing but being a serato user since SL2 I just started him on Serato studio .. :) will get him to sub too .. he’s made some sick D&B on Soundtrap so can’t wait to see what his creative mind and serato studio come up with .
What's your approach to track structure? How did you pack all the variety you needed into 5 scenes? Do you tend to build scenes with a certain number of bars for mix/match options?
There’s no way to do bus tracks correct? Or side chain input to a VST, can’t wait to get that function . Also is there a way to copy paste a row? Not the whole pattern but a row to another row
if you made the sample yourself..wouldn't it technically just be a melody? a sample is called a sample bc it is sampled from another source right? lol...anyways..thanks for making this video..i've mainly been using Ableton Live for the past year or so, but i'm always down to learn new DAW's and equipment. been hearing a lot of noise about Serato Studio and how the workflow is pretty chill..especially when it comes to sampling...i might just download the trial version and give it a try sometime in the next year.
