I remember when 'The Empire Strikes Back' came out, Dairylea cheese triangles had small sheets of rub down transfers, that were made by a subsidiary of the razor company, Gillette, called 'Kalkitos'. There were various scenes on the bottom of the pack the cheese came in. I think I might still have a couple of sheets, shut into a Star Wars book, somewhere. (Gets a shovel and heads for the utter chaos and horror that is a toy collector's loft).🤔 😆😆😆 What is Admiral Ackbar doing in Jabba's palace, by the way? If he had shouted: "IT'S A TRAP!", the intro would probably have been a lot shorter.

I have a couple of the Dairylea transfers. I remember sending off for the larger free set but it never turned up, a childhood tragedy

Only you could throw in ‘I have met the King’ and then not give any more detail! Classic 😂

Ian you’re dead right. Im a fellow republican, and there are a few cheeky errors in that timeline! Direct descendant of Alfred the great?!!😂 Richard III of York and a couple of others might take issue with the author!

I feel not a great deal of research was done. I wonder if the other P&B books are as inaccurate? "On D Day the King led his troops across the beaches on his horse before punching the upstart Hitler on the nose"
